- I'm a Willard nut - I personally believe the design specs make this style watch the best "working mans" watch out there - The specs of these "Chinese homage" watches are pretty incredible although some have found fault in some of the details when compared to a genuine Seiko (even if most Seiko's have bezel alignment issues)...
In this video I compare the Steeldive and Addiesdive 1970 "Captain Willard" watches I already own to my genuine Seiko Prospex Willard - Хобби
Excellent vid! Received a Seiko dive watch as a birthday present in 1980. Probably has ~500-600 dives on it. Cleaned once, replaced the band circa 2005. Runs perfectly. Gifted it to my son on his 30th.
Nice Seiko watches and killer knife!
Nice Patina on that Turtle 🐢 👌🏼
That green Willard is beautiful. 🤩
I have the pulsar version of that watch with the solar panel face. Never needs a battery change. Got it in 2007 for about 100 dollars new. Great watch.
The sweep second hands on all of those watches are surprisingly smooth for watches in the price range. That's the one thing I've always loved most about Rolex and other higher end pieces. The ones I could never afford and likely wouldn't buy if I could. Lol. I have to admit, you've got me wanting a Willard pretty bad now. Lol. I'll be interested to know how the tools work out. I've got a watch I've been wanting to change out the hands on. 👍👍
I bought a Heimdallr Captain Willard homage this week. Should be receiving Thursday.
nice vid man, think I am very close to gettin a willard 😎😎
Dang, now I want one too!
I ❤ my steeldive 😊 captain willard. 👍👍
LOL LOL LOL I'm officially done. LOL LOL LOL -- Hear that guys? Should we start a pool? Sorry to tell you Mike, you've been bitten, you're far from done.
Just to add, I took delivery today of a Seiko SKX007 that I ordered after watching your Turtle/Willard vids. I thought I was done lone ago too.
Ha, ha, ha,,,,,!!!
Steel dive fixed that crown undercut. Mine is new... just but a rdunae Willard. You won’t come back. I have the new steeldive just to find out how much better the rdunae is.
In my educated opinion, the True Successor to the Willard Is the Seiko SRP77 I think I paid about 350.00 for it!A true ueembellished Tool watch, no extras! However, my Daily wear is the Chinese SDI1970! I get the feeling of wearing a Willard at a throwaway price?check out the willard,vs. SRP77 comparison on you tube and tell me what you think!
Yeah, I've seen them all ( I think) - I agree, the SD is nice, I had one - My Addiesdive was nicer than the SD which I gave to my nephew... I really like domed crystals which is accurate for the 6105 so I'm really only interested in that Rdunae - Having typed that my Addiesdive and bronze SD are very nice, well made tough tool watches
But srp777 isnt same case so how do you mean "true" successor?
Most ppl today Z have their 'Smart Device' close enough to not need a watch! After all try the Time Channel! TIME 24-7. When marking time, remember to keep in step! ❤🇺🇸❤

worse than a crack 😂

the Rdunae is the closest to the willard, none of those that you have, i have 3 originals plus all the sla's, the collection you have i also owned and sold on, to me theyre not even close
I know it's unrelated to the subject but you have the shortest thumb I've ever seen, unless it's the lens.
it's the lens
