It was really funny to see how quickly your opinion of Shuro plummeted in real time. I think a lot of people dislike his actions and his mindset, but I really like how miscommunications on both ends caused the story to unfold like it has. Anyways, as always, looking forward to seeing the next one!
Can't help but notice that when Falin ripped her shirt Marcille reacted the same way as Shuro. Shuro who just said that he was attracted to Falin😏 Nothing is confirmed but it makes it clearer imo...
Toshiro's got kind of a friendless lot in life, but it _is_ also from a kind of stoic nature around people as well. Oddly enough, it's almost the same thing Laios has going, whereas our friend just kinda stumbles headlong into things with all the best intentions, however ill-timed, and our samurai here tends to say little and engage in less. It's a quick and great instance of character growth here, where the lesson comes WITH the boneheaded fistfight, since we are guys and sometimes, that's the format for the heart-to-heart honesty. You'll see more of their party again, and of Kabru's, but you'd never guess how those paths come back to our main gang here, and that's the best part of all~ It was a nicely organic clash of viewpoints that I haven't seen enough in anime, I kinda love it as a sort of 'level up' moment for the stakes, there's plenty more to come ✨🪙
The "Next Time" kabru says sounds ominous but it's actually really dry humor. He says that because he knows Laios has met his party twice before this and Laios just doesnt remember his face. That's why Kabru goes "Next time I hope you remember me". But since he's a bit of an edgy boi, it comes off ominous
