I wanted to thank ALL the people involved in this production, and especially Siddig, Andrew and Nana. I just finished my first watch of DS9 a couple weeks ago. The life you brought to your characters got me writing again after a ten year hiatus. It's brought back a joy I'd forgotten. The time I'm putting into my DS9 fanfics has been a perfect creative outlet for me during a tough time. Thank you :) The instant The Almighty Algorithm realized I was writing sappy Garashir fics this channel got recommended. I've got a nice backlog to go through and I'll come back around to this one as soon as I can manage!
Man, if we could get a AE/SD to clean up the audio a little and add some sounds and music? These are NPR worthy Radio Dramas the caliber we haven't seen since ROTJ in '96. (Brock Peters as Darth Vader, enough said) And Alone Together has the added benefit of the actual original cast!
Honesty, I love how this is Zoom style. It's the actors and the dialogue that matter! I love DS9, don't get me wrong, but the trappings aren't the cake, just the icing ❤❤❤❤❤

Angry Bashir is almost scary. I like that they brought up that Julian and the Intendant both dated their Ezris, I kinda wish Bashir knew about Mirror Ezri
Which begs the question... What place, if any, does Jake hold in Bajoran religion as the son of the Emissary? He figured it would keep him safe when the Dominion took the station, but it's not like he has an actual title or duties or prophecies to fulfill?
MY HEADCANON: People change. Kira had a spiritual awakening after Sisko first brought her to the Celestial Temple. When she was with him he asked her to “Be my first officer again. Be my path to your people. Be my connection to my own humanity. Care for my son in my absence. My Number One.” Kira had much more than an orb experience. And Sisko was a part of her finding herself over those seven years. She wanted to serve her friendship, serve her people, and serve her faith. Kira took her vows as a Vedek to protect the orbs and continue to share the will of the Prophets with her people. She led services at the Bajoran Temple of DS9 for three years as a novice Vedek. People adored her. The people had been without a Kai since Winn’s death as respect for the office fell for a time. When the people called for a new Kai, Kira was encouraged to enter the race and then won. She made her flag on the station to be closer to Jake, the wormhole, and Sisko. And she likes that she still gets to be the simple Bajoran administrator she had never truly gotten to be before.

Nana Visitor has such a great smile, it is so influential! I love that Gates McFadden shared that with her, as it truly is true!
