I got blocked at the scale & it caused a line which blocked every one from entering the fuel stations.
The Indian dude who parked in front the scale got ripped a new one & I laughed so hard!

The 'Karen' badge only fits if/when the resulting tirade is unjustified. This Lady does NOT deserve the 'Karen' title. She makes 100% sense. If I was there, I'd have offered to buy her a beverage.

Lady driver, and you - @Ike, are 100% correct. You scale, then get off the scale and either park or hit a fuel island (if you need fuel). This bullshit where an entitled rookie holds everyone else up is a crock. We are all on the clock and forcing others to wait for 15 or 30 minutes is not only disrespectful, but you are essentially taking money out of their pocket by wasting their on-duty time.

@justnosa3481 No one should expect privacy in public. If you're going to be a bonehead, someone is going to be there to record it. That's the world we live in today. Short piece of advice: Do better if you know to do better. That also goes to us 4 wheelers(which are the easiest vehicles to drive).

Just retired after 47 years. I loved it when someone would back up in front of a "blocker" and make him wait. Common courtesy and respect for fellow truckers is now non existent!

As a trucker I can say he was wrong for blocking the scale but what did she gain by talking to him that way. Like I’ve said before even if someone is wrong you don’t know what type of day a person is having and putting a phone in their face and yelling won’t help.

Lady is right. I've had the same prob like man wtaf MOVE!!! Been stuck behind a truck on the scale for 15 mins went in to tell them. The driver was in the shower!! Omg. I lost it. The stupidity out here is thick. Just today, I sat waiting at the pump blocked by a truck at the line. For over 30 I go in they make a announcement the jerk was sitting in the McDonald's eating lunch. He got mad at me like man I got to gooo!!

"Who cares if he's blocking someone else?" Truck drivers care. I'd bet that those who say "Who cares" aren't truck drivers. We've all got a job to do. We should all be at the very least trying NOT to make the other guy's job harder. But the "Everybody gets a trophy" generation just can't conceive that they might be WRONG, because they were never told that they were wrong by anybody. It's all about ME!

I'm 43 yo and when I was a kid I used to go with my dad all the time in the summer when school was out. Now I drive and the trucking world is totally different from then till now. People back then would help another driver out with no questions asked. No a days you are lucky to get someone to help another driver out.
I'm on the female's side. He should have moved out of the way this way the scale was free for other drivers to use the scale.

I still go inside, but I always park and go inside. Because I usually have to go to the bathroom.

The BONE HEADS dont watch you Ike. I started driving truck in 1978 as a straight truck, did that about 18 months. Then hauled grain in a semi on roads i knew so i could just had to think about driving and learning the truck, after about a year i went over the road. I made mistkes and when i called out about 80% of the drivers just explained what i was doing wrong, and i learned. Common sense, courtesy, respect goes a long way.
How I scaled my truck :
Drive onto scale, 1st weigh, then drive off scale & pull through fuel line and park ahead like I just got done fueling, go inside to get scale ticket , then go back to my truck and adjust tandem or fifth wheel, reweigh, then repeat, get my reweigh ticket, then good to go ( easy peasy lemon squeezy )
Unless people are taking their 30 minute break at the fuel island, and it's backed up. Not easy peasy.

After watching the video and reading the comments I thought to my self ....I wondered if the driver blocking the scales was wearing flip-flops....so I watched the video again and sure enough he was! Just proves one thing, real truckers don't wear flip-flops.
Don't block the Pumps or the scale and i bet he planned on backing back on the scale after he moved his Tandems but the lady called him out

I dont see a problem moving tandems in front of the scale if you use the app and do it quickly. Parking in front of the scale to get your ticket from the inside is a problem.
The fact he has that scale ticket already means he’s been park there for a minute so he really thought he was gonna come back and slide his tandems too ohhh no bro you gotta move. But like you said if you got the app get out slide your tandems and just pull around

I tried to help this one guy who was about to hit a walmart trailer and he started yelling and I just walked off. Folks are getting crazier.
Nah, they even tell you when you call in that after you weigh to pull off the scale and park. You should do the same thing when using the app. Moving your tandems will take longer than the next person that need to scale as well. If the next person doesn’t need to move anything, then you’re wasting their time. No matter what, scale, park and then do what you need to do.

Amazon contractor is 100% in the wrong. I've confronted people for blocking the scale too, though not with the colorful language. Her clock is ticking down and I'm sure she has someplace to be.

Hey Ike I'm a retired driver and back when I was driving most of the Truck Stops had a spot to park to get your scale slip and you can adjust your tandems and then you can go and rescaled and then you can ether go on your way or go into the lot and park to get a meal or some sleep or whatever you need to do period Charlie kretschmar Phoenix Arizona

For like 5 years now I get my scale ticket on my phone. If it’s off I find a parking spot and change the position. If I think I need to reweigh to do the same thing again. I never thought of blocking a scale of moving my tires while on the scale but it seems to be the norm now. Thinking of retiring from trucking. Oh yes all the pigs that throw trash on the ground is pathetic.
Truck stops should have a policy that if you block the scale, it should be a $5 Fine, when they block me from using the scale, I would have them sign a "Release of Liability Form", so I can get the trailer on the scale even if the trailer hits their truck so I won't have any LIABILITY to cover myself, a copy for both 😉

The lady is correct. Don't block the scale. The trucking industry is there own worst enemy. Major carriers constantly bitch and complain they cannot get good qualified drivers but they allow their drivers to have bad behavior at truck stops. Why would someone coming from high school or trade school want to be a truck driver? Think about it. Based on the videos truck drivers are viewed as disrespectful slobs. Videos show they literally piss and take a shit behind their truck right in truck stop parking areas, and unload their trash. Other trades (even the house builders) do not allow you to take a piss and shit on their job site. All these truck stops have toilets within walking distances to their "cheez burger and sodee water". Again the trucking industry are their own worst enemy.
