Hi Outties! If you made it this far I'd love your opinion on something. I really want to start a journaling series but don't want to name it "journal with me" or "study with me" etc. I want it to be focused on our community coming together maybe once a month to journal for our mental health. My tips for studying/ taking notes:
- choose a color theme ( so it isnt confusing to study)
- take notes in class to save time
- start taking notes days before studying them so you dont get tired
- write the information before the title so you dont waste your time trying to come up with a title

I use an iPad for my notes for school! I use Notability because it has a lot of different fonts, endless colors, both high lighters and pens and I can move stuff around easily!
Girl my schedule is a lot more productive and full of fun and educational things, thanks to you 😊. But, there is one thing all Outties have to do everyday: fit in a bit of Natalie Outlet vids along with her twin. Haha

My friends and teachers in college always praised me for how aesthetically pleasing my notes were. I’d use different colored highlighters, gel pens. I’d underline stuff and also highlight things.

Also for anyone who doesn’t have time in class to make your notes aesthetic, write them down normally then when you go home or to where ever you do your work after school, rewrite them in an aesthetic way because you are reviewing and retaining your work while making it easier for you to study.

I honestly don’t know have the time to make “cute” notes. I personally just take my Pilot G2 pens and Sharpie highlighters and hope I’ll remember everything I need for my AP exam. Because AP World History is hard. (At least for me because my teacher is out on maturity leave)

Keep to one colour scheme per topic
Don't spend too much time on decorating your title
Try matching one colour pen per highlighter

I learn best by only hearing, because i am that girl who loves taking ‘aesthetic’ notes- so as im listening, i am also note taking, and i have naturally neat hand writing so im good lol, but i just use basic highlighters, but in colors like purple, blue, green, pink, and orange, but pastels ofc. and i color coordinate it 😭
