@@allofgarden4152 that’s not good for it bro, these things don’t like any rpm below 2000 and for a reason, the DI system doesn’t get a full workout until high RPM. Driving like a granny will only work the port injectors. Port injectors only doesn’t pull as much heat out of the cylinder as DI and ironically you get hotter combustion and higher engine internal temps. What happens is lugging and jerking really bad below 2000rpm, which is your engine suffering pre-detonation and self-destructing.

A piston ring has to wear in to a honed wall (slightly abrasive surface). This is all by design to make a "matched set" between that piston/ring/cylinder. I run Pilotsport 5 on the front standard Yokohomas on the rear. Michelin to guide the car through water, Yokohomas to get the 200hp spinning correct GT86 though :)
Yeah same just to avoid powertrain wear. Fine putting wear on stock tires, but I do plan to throw nicer rubber on eventually, and at thet point I won't want to abuse the tires.
