Tim (blue shirt) offensive first time he played in two weeks. It was 37 degrees outside and using old balls. Tim improved significantly the last season and can beat me every time when he's focused and plays smart. He has amazing hands and touch up at net, is fast around the court, and can blast winners. Tim is most likely a higher UTR as these numbers are pulling in from last season.
Me (white hat) defensive second time I've played on hard court in 6 months. Trying to gain consistency and get comfortable moving around the court. I was able to cash in on his unforced and take this cold pre-season match 6-1, 7-5. Update: 1 year later this kid is smoking me!

Thanks Andrew, yeah it's just growing in our area so we are just going by the numbers on the utr site pulling from last season, but shortly we'll have some verified utr matches happening

It's underrated, and not everyone likes the mushy feel, but I love it. There are softer strings like cream and poly tour air, but they don't have the Tour Bite attitude. Glad you like it

Red racquet has a nice forehand and handy slice backhand, plus great footwork too. The slice won't work well enough at the college level though. Green shirt has some serious power on the forehand side at times. Nice match.

Hey Robert, can you tell us a little bit about how /why you made the switch to the prestige? I've hit with the AI a bit (before it got stolen) but never tried the latest prestige. Thanks!
hey just seeing this. Ai was about 6 years old and a friend had a couple of the prestiges at a good price. Figured I could get used to anything, but after a winter of hitting with it I couldn't get the spin I was used to with 16x19, so I switched back to ai. Control was better for sure but that's not really my game I guess! Now looking at old ai's
@@EvokeTennis ah, I see. Bummer about the prestiges! I think the current ezone has pretty comparable spin potential. And oddly, isn't too off on swing weight, and a little lead tape would bring it to match.

Yeah man there is a utr event series in rva this weekend again, battle of the 804 on the utr event page. Did it this past weekend and got 3 matches in - could be some good play/filming opportunity. Either way just email me and we can set a match up sometime.

Pretty egregious imo. He start his serve motion with the front foot already inside the line, then his back foot comes up for a little extra.

Those forehands seems like they nose dive after getting over the net. Are they landing short ?
Needs to adjust to the tighter string pattern of the Prestige.
lower rhs and more through is sending mine long, but the great Roger Federer says he is ok with missing long because you can reel it back in from there.
Green is definitely a 4.5 not a 6
