Yep I'm in Weaverville but do some work in Asheville. Was meeting up at golds gym parking lot for car meets when we were allowed to back this summer.... Ahh well it will warm up again before we know it 😉
Yea. I just did the end plates which is why its a half bridge. Me being someone who does porting I would much rather do a 4 port motor over a 6 port. The 6 port is alot more difficult. Takes more than twice as long to do as a 4 port iron. So was it worth it? Top end screams yep. 😆
Motor is not happy idling that low. Look how much it’s shaking. I can idle my half bridge at 800rpm also but that doesn’t mean you should. It’ll idle smoother and cleaner at a higher rpm.
@@betopatino8284 Old cars don't have to get tuned to change something like that. You adjust your idle by turning the screw that allows more/less air in while the throttle is closed.
I don't have IG just several RX-7s which I post vids of from time to time. Been to busy work wise and building client motors to do much of anything else. Soon hopefully though I'll post another video.

Just needed a run down or suggestion on FC. I just got out the army and managed to get hands on my dream car, an FC conv. My father used to own one and knew how to work on them but know time is catching up to his memories. Your video pretty much shows exactly what I imagine for my 91 Vert. Just wanted to touch base with you and all.
Even my Peripheral Port sits lower than that. I run Motec's on all my cars and can do the fuel to where its not loading up and with great compression it can idle lower using less fuel.

Absolutly.... If you cant get some turbo exhaust sleeves then yes grind em out which is going to be a slow process.

Its a half bridge that I have lightened and clearanced the rotors to turn 11,000 Rpm's with a Motec M4 ecu running on 87 octane making 226Hp

Idle is way to low
For you maybe lol
I keep mine at 1100

I'll have to try that. I like mine at 1100, better tip in response for me.
