My take is that She came in as a young congresswoman who had been influenced by an ideology. Had good intentions. But after several years in congress is finally learning the politics is not all black and white. That there is a grey area. She's learning. We all learn things and change beliefs. That's just a fact that comes with Time. I'm a full on Trumper. But honestly seeing her reaching out like this. Wanting to learn from from people that voted for Trump and her. Is a good sign. She is maturing. And you can't go wrong when your willing to listen to both sides and learn from that experience. This is what all politicians should do. And frankly any American. I don’t know and don’t care about AOC politics, BUT, here in Missouri we voted overwhelmingly for Trump AND for the Pro Abortion amendment. We could do both. I support Public schooling AND school choice. I support Medicare AND private health choices. Why? Simple. 1) Because richest nation in the world SHOULD/MUST have a basic infrastructure of living standards for all its citizens, AND 2) because a democratic society should give freedom of better choices to those who can afford it. Democrats love to compartmentalize everything: “If you’re a woman, you should care only for abortion”, “if you’re black, only for racism”, “if you’re Latino, only for immigration” etc. life isn’t that simple, every mind is different. A peasant immigrant from Honduras, thinks very different than a rich Cuban or Venezuelan exile. You have made me think about your viewpoints more than I otherwise would have. I will continue to watch TYT to hear a fair perspective from people who think differently than I do. My take is that She came in as a young congresswoman who had been influenced by an ideology. Had good intentions. But after several years in congress is finally learning the politics is not all black and white. That there is a grey area. She's learning. We all learn things and change beliefs. That's just a fact that comes with Time. I'm a full on Trumper. But honestly seeing her reaching out like this. Wanting to learn from from people that voted for Trump and her. Is a good sign. She is maturing. And you can't go wrong when your willing to listen to both sides and learn from that experience. This is what all politicians should do. And frankly any American. Do the research and come to your own conclusions.

These percentages could be so misleading... Did more people vote for trump than last time or did less people vote for kamala than biden? One or both of these could change the percentages. But if it's just less people voting for kamala and around the same number of people voting for trump then it's a sign of apathy, not a "shift" in the voting populous

I already answered this question in CNN. But here it goes again. I don’t know and don’t care about AOC politics, BUT, here in Missouri we voted overwhelmingly for Trump AND for the Pro Abortion amendment. We could do both. Just because I’m a pro choice woman doesn’t mean I don’t care for OTHER political priorities. Life isn’t black and white. It’s full of gray areas: I support border security AND social Security. I support Public schooling AND school choice. I support Medicare AND private health choices.
Why? Simple.
1) Because richest nation in the world SHOULD/MUST have a basic infrastructure of living standards for all its citizens, AND
2) because a democratic society should give freedom of better choices to those who can afford it.
Democrats love to compartmentalize everything: “If you’re a woman, you should care only for abortion”, “if you’re black, only for racism”, “if you’re Latino, only for immigration” etc. life isn’t that simple, every mind is different. A peasant immigrant from Honduras, thinks very different than a rich Cuban or Venezuelan exile. A professional black man thinks very different than a black teenager from a ghetto, a religious pro-life woman thinks very different from a single young prochoice woman.
Why is this concept so hard to understand?
Conservative here. I know Ana isn't Conservative but I appreciate her growth. I will now tune into TYT to get her honest thoughts on certain situations. Whether she bashes either side or praises either side, I'm glad I can go to a place where I feel like I can truly get an unbiased opinion from someone who is more left leaning. Regardless of who or what she's talking about, I will genuinely consider what she's saying. I'll continue to use other sources and form my own opinion but she's now on my list of people to listen to.
I hope Cenk gets there. I think he can. TYT has the chance to become one of the absolute best media companies if it becomes a place where both the left and right can come to get the truth and not unhinged and skewed opinion twisted and delivered as fact.

Contrary to popular belief, she doesn't exactly spend her time in office surfing the comments page of RUclips, or the replies in her Twitter posts to search and identify the occasional comment on whether or not people approve of her and why. Even if she did, that's not necessarily indicative of whom they end up VOTING for.
I do not agree with her on a host of issues, not the least was her easy endorsement of Biden (and Bernie's endorsement as well). Her easy embrace of Harris was also troubling, along with her assurance that Harris was working "day and night" to secure a ceasefire in the Middle East.
Yeah and some people who are mad that Trump won accuses the majority of the country of voting for him because bananas are $7, as if that's something to even be downplayed considering the majority of us fall under the middle and lower class bracket who are barely surviving from paycheck to paycheck.
