Thank you all for taking the time to listen to this compilation. I have been a life long Prince fan. I have been making compilations like this for at least 35 years. I have many more that I have yet to post. Now that I see there are fans who appreciate this arrangement I will load more up. The Album art is also my creation. I absolutely love Prince and actually had the honor to hang out with him in New York City at the Village underground. As Bruce Springsteen once said to me, “Prince is the greatest musical mind of our time, he is a modern day Mozart.”

I would consider it a tremendous Gift, that he had the foresight to compile and collect work for the future, only to be released after he was gone from this place. Who in the world over has ever done that with this as a specific intent? Just the fact that we all continue to benefit from his Artistic abilities when he is only here in Spirit is something that will forever be greatly appreciated.

The true test of musical genius lies not in popularity in their own time and place, but in the influence and longevity of their music worldwide. IMO Prince will join the pantheon of great composer/musicians like Lennon/McCartney, Zappa, Mozart, Miles, Ellington, et alia in that if the species makes it to 2200 - and those music lovers will still be watching/hearing their music performed then as well.

Man, if any single good thing came out of Prince's death, it's that we got a plethora of live stuff, unreleased songs and undiscovered gems since he and his Purple Internet Cops aren't there to shut it down . But how does all this great stuff with pretty good sound just sit there waiting for the estate to do something with it?
They're leaving money on the table when all the stuff I really want to hear (live and vault material) is exploding all over youtube. I'm not complaining, mind, but I'd gladly pay money for SO much of this stuff.
The estate needs to realize that the cash flow is not in the repackaging hits and shit like that but the really special stuff that the hardcore fan base knows is there and wants. Many of us caught an aftershow here and there or copped some bootlegs along the way and want MORE. Why is all the good stuff just floating here on RUclips? Again, I'll take it because it's great and Prince was a fucking genius that I never get tired of but, please, estate, release stuff like THIS instead of another Purple Rain reissue or whatever.
Prince had a hardcore fan base that he built and that allowed him to circumvent the rules of the music business and carver out his entire thing. SELL to that fan base. Please
