I feel so stupid. I was wondering when I would have quests involving the elves and i always saw this guy here and i never thought he was important. I was like oh hes the "what fine craftsmanship" guy
So ppl seem to fail to understand that npc don't teleport you either need to pass time of just sleep until the npc arrives to its location this goes for all quest unless an actual not in-game cutscene triggers
NPCs will teleport if you use carts and ferrystones. Before you use the ferry stone pick up the NPC and then use it.
@@DarkPassenger if they are in your party and obviously carts pass time an entire day sometimes
My scenario is way different Glyndwr was killed by the werewolf and his father is outside the cave waiting for him wtf 😅😅😅
10:40 he refuses to spawn there, gonna see if he's gone ahead but quest marker is at the camp

Nope. You can change as soon as done with the very first shoot the target quest.

Edit: I fixed it.
1. I rested until the morning.
2. I went deep into the cave and found his father and sister fighting the troll.
3. I killed the troll and then talked to the father and completed the quest 💪🏽
At 20:26 his father isn't there. Everything else went exactly the same for me. He was even there telling his son that he's proud of him and stuff, and then I went back in the cave to fight the troll. The troll wasn't there so I turned back and the father was gone.
I also went to their elf village and I couldn't find him there.
Now I'm stuck and can't finish the quest 😢
The same for me. The dad killed in the battle and cant finish the quest. I returned after days and the son stands outside waiting for his dad and the dad (and sister) nowhere to be found
@@misuselthegreat Did you try going in the cave and looking for them inside ? If not, check the morgue in the elves village and try to revive his dad there. I hope this helps.
@@cuddlesgamingvids I went back in yes, the monsters respawned, but no Ogre and no Father and sister. Is there a morgue in the Elves Village?
@@misuselthegreat Yeap there is and from my understanding he should be there if he died.
@@cuddlesgamingvids I've read that there are two morgues, one in Ventworth and one Battahl. I'll check again

Can I change my vocation back after I meet him up the first time? Or do I have stay an archer for the whole mission
You can change afterwards.

He showed up after I completed this whole thing as a travel companion. Travel companion mission. I gave him gifts if that made a difference
Lost him during the follow him to sacred arbor, won’t let me progress or help spot him on the map

i sure hope this makes archery somewhat better. kuz it sucks now. i think they put that nice prize at the end so ppl would actually do this quest line. i was going to 100% skip it till i found out the reward. thanks for this vid :)

In my experience he was killed in the dungeon and his father is waiting outside the cave. Does anybody know if there is anything I can do?
Cant finish the quest. The father gets killed in the fight with the ogre and even when i returned after many days he's nowhere be found
For anyone who missed the father on the road and can’t find him. Go back in the ancestral cave all the way to the back of the cave the father and sister are there.
I spoke to them he doesn’t give me anything I don’t have a pawn that translates tho
The first quest won't trigger
so why does he show up after this quest hes following my guy around and wont go away??

He did not spawn at the Ruins so i can‘t do the quest and i don‘t know any way to fix it
For me after his first quest complete, he doesn't show up in town anymore.

Are you talking about my comment ? I fixed it. I rested until the morning, then went into the cave and the troll and his father and sister were in there as well. I defeated the troll and talked to the father and it completed the quest 😁

not really, I did it towards the end of the game and it was fine
.. so i completed this quest a lil while back, then the dude just showed up at my house? I wasnt really paying attention to the diolague but i accepted the quest and now hes following me around? I dont know where to take him
Check your quest log. I read somewhere that you have to take him to the elf city/town not too far from the ruins where you meet him in the forest.
@@AckeeSalak He followed me for a while, and dissapear after I did the quest escort of the oxcart. He went missing after the cave collapsed and I got separated with my pawns.
@@martk647 I had the same happen. He showed up at my house and followed me escorting the ox cart. But after resting at a Inn he disappeared again. Have you figured out a way to locate him again?
@@brain12372 After a few days, i arrived at Vernworth i see him again at our house in Vernworth. So he is not missing forever.
me either, hes followed my guy around to several fights and hes still with him , dont seem to want to leave , what gives?
After completing this quest line Glyndwr finds you again and asks you to go on another adventure with him.
I failed this section because of resting at an Inn. Does anyone know if I can locate him and start it again?
I took on another escort quest near by and it bugged him out and he disappeared smh 🤦🏽♂️ trying to find him too
You can actually skip training with him and this beta will still invite you
