I love seeing these packs being open. Had I known back in my kid days I definitely would have taken better care of my cards. My favorite Pokémon is Dratini and it’s evolutionary forms! Every form is interesting and unique and is very enticing. I just recently go back into Pokémon as well! I have to be careful it has become addicting lol
It's probably just nostalgia. It truly is such a powerful thing in your brain. There are still people who say that the first gen games were perfect and had nothing wrong with them, despite the lack of proper balancing and all the game breaking bugs (which are to be expected since they were old as hell). If you pull off the nostalgia goggles you'll see that all the holos in the old sets are literally just blurred windows screensaver images and stock photos of random scenery with some foil slapped on it. So low/minimal effort and with concept art that had been drawn and copy pasted onto various other promotional materials, just on cards. The old cards are great because of nostalgia, i have so many fond memories of collecting them as a kid, but in terms of quality they are definitely not superior. The technology they have today for printing the cards and creating the holofoil, and having more access to a bigger variety of artists to choose from to contribute to the card sets, the quality has definitely improved significantly.
Recently got back into collecting pokemon cards. Pikachu was my brothers favorite. His pride and joy. Mine was squirtle. He left me all his pokemon and yugioh cards. Unfortunately, he passed away 3 years ago from gbm cancer. He used to watch you and simplyunlucky a lot. Watching you open up these packs brings back so much memories. Love you brother. Keep up the great videos!

Snorlax is my favorite Pokémon of all time. I just think he has the cutest design and I’ve been collecting all the different snorlax cards since 2008. Great video!!
My favorite Pokémon is Rockruff because Rockruff looks very closely similar to my puppy, Finn. Finn helped me beat my 12 year depression that I had been battling. Since getting Finn, he has changed my life for the better. 2 weeks ago, I finally decided to stop therapy because I don’t feel like I need it any longer. I credit most of this from my soon to be 9 month old puppy. We have had a close bond from the very beginning like a match made in heaven type scenario. Rockruff, nicknamed Finn, is my Pokémon Go buddy, as well.
I’d say Cloyster, because it’s a first generation Pokemon yet can still hold its own in some competitive battles, It’s a powerhouse of a Pokémon and it looks so cool as well! And the fact it’s also nostalgic Pokemon… that’s what makes it my favorite Pokémon

My favorite pokemon is LUGIA! The first Pokemon game I got really immersed into was Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness for the Gamecube! It was an amazing Pokemon game, way ahead of it's time! I don't know if I'm the only one who thought it. But Lugia was the lead Pokemon in that game and it had a really good story for my little self at the time.
My favorite pokemon is constantly changing but right now I'd have to say Gengar. I love his mischievous personality and purple is one of my favorite colors.

I cherished it until I moved and lost all of my collection due to my family having to move and discard things that were much less important than cardboard =P. NOWADAYS I wish I had future sight, but I still reminisce about the joy of finding a new holo in a base or fossil set.
I have always loved Mankey/Primeape!! Just remember watching the episode as a kid with mankey first appeared and fell in love with him. And now finding out there is a annihilape! I just love the fighting spirit of these pokemon! Always ready to box!! Fight on Mankey and the evolved forms.

Giratina. Getting and playing pokemon platinum for my 10th birthday was one of my favorite pokemon memories, and finally meeting him in the distortion world was amazing and stuck with me since.
