Retail stores kinda do the same thing usually its just the most recent sets but they'll randomly put out some old stuff they just found lying in a warehouse I guess
How would I know if it’s worth it if I couldn’t even buy one on the Pokémon Center website? They were all sold out by the time I realized they had these Special Delivery Boxes. Your three extra boxes could have gone to someone who never even bought one before in their entire life (including myself).

Unfortunately items like this are what scalpers go after and companies know this, including Nintendo, so they moved inventory through the Mystery Boxes and knew that scalpers would jump on the product, and made it seem like they care about consumerism by "limiting" 1 box per order, when in reality they knew scalpers would just place multiple orders, do i think Leonhart is a scalper, no i don't, he is interested in the numbers for something he enjoys and that's simply because he is a businessman and a collector, however the fact that all 4 mystery boxes were the same really makes it look like nintendo is just moving inventory

They did it to punish the people who ordered multiple. Everyone was supposed to get 1. You got 3 extra, those 3 could have gone to 3 more people who didn’t get anything.

Yes he posts his numbers but his entire channel isn't just numbers, he gives back to the community and even does things that will hinder his numbers tremendously.

the thing about card sleeves glossy vs matte, a glossy sleeve works better for showcasing cards with that full transparency but is more likely to stick to other sleeves when hit with hand sweat or any other liquid, matted sleeves are less susceptible to moisture stickiness do to the additive of texture on the sleeves. this is why a lot of card game players will opt for those slightly fogger looking sleeves as opposed to the glossy full clear sleeves.

Mystery boxes are full of mostly items you would never buy off the shelf.
My dad and I both ordered boxes and got IDENTICAL boxes lol every single item. We both got a sun and moon pack. We both got a smoliv and lechonk hat, obsidian flames, fusion strike, paldea evolved, orange tatsugiri, bulbasaur, quaxly pin set, lucario sleeves and a meditite figure. Every item the same lol I really wanted one of us to get Eevee, and my dad wanted anything CHARIZARD lol it just worked out that way. I guess since we both had ordered right after launch we got the same batch of boxes? If these four were ordered close together too I wonder… lol

Been using rare candy and it's honestly been pretty great. I've used many other scanning tools but rare candy just works really nice and organized well! Cheers and great watching you open these boxes! Will try to snag one or two myself for my wife and son

There were only like 6 different variations of box contents. Still a mystery to the consumer, but not to the company. He ordered 4 (limit 1 per person) to the same address so he was given 4 boxes of the same variation. Intentional punishment.

This is the problem with the community - buying more than the limit. And then not being able to comprehend the legal terms of “products will vary”. Nowhere does it say per box. Couldn’t let regular collectors have a chance at getting a box because you know, content…..

In a surprise twist, the official Pokémon Mystery box is every bit as much a “mystery” as most of the 3rd party ones.
I mean, the pack selection puts it above most of the garbage mystery boxes out there, so that alone makes it better, just no surprises.
I like the idea of these but the fact it’s all the same product inside would only make me buy one

Weird, now im seeing a few people got exactly the same stuff. Mine was 4 packs of Sun and Moon, the "Summer Days" Pikachu hat, Pikachu Sitting Cutie, Lechonk 7" plush, Koraidon sleeves, Bagon figure, and Fuecoco evo line pin set
There were only like 6 content variations. You have like a 16% chance of getting the exact contents that he did. He got 4 boxes to the same address so he got all from the same stack. Hahah
