If Kareem Hunt is 60% of what he was in Year 2 when we lost him, he will be a good 1-2 punch with Steele along with a mix of Perine taking up the McKinnon role. If he is that good it doesn't matter what happens with CEH, he could take the whole year on NFI. If Pacheco comes back as expected by the end of the year, then the backfield would be solidified with a fresh legs Pacheco in the playoffs along with potentially a really fresh legs Brown (since he wasn't injured in the legs), that could translate into a very different offense in the playoffs than what we are going to see in the regular season for sure.
If he’s even 85-90 percent of what he was his second year, he seems very confident in himself. Hand 🤚 him the ball and let him go, 6 to 12 snaps sounds like a good amount in my opinion. His first year he was the best RB in the NFL 6 years ago. I am anxious to see what he can do against the Chargers he’s a former RB1. I’m not expecting 1,000 yards out of him his first year back, but maybe he can contribute 300-450 yards. He’s motivated as hell to help make the three peat come to fruition. I think he’ll move up the depth chart if he shows any kind of speed that he had 6 years ago.
Yeah, Hunt's a little long in tooth, but because he was behind Chubb it might could be that he's still got tread left on his tires. We picked up Marcus Allen at 33 and he still had tread, as did Priest Holmes at 28. Hunt's newly turned 29, so it's conceivable that he can still perform, too. Body prep and therapy have moved forward a lot since the previous two, so who knows? Kicking his tires on the cheap? Sounds good.
I did notice in his presser Kareem did start to say something that he wished Clark would have and that was it he stopped himself to say anything else I don't know if anybody else got that but
Caveat with Steele .. he did have to leave the game briefly with an injury at one point during the past game... Still has to prove that he can take a beating while running the way he does thru a season
Kareem lied to Clark in 2018 about how events went down and was cut shortly after. The one thing the teams takes seriously is truth & honesty, but Kareem broke the trust then, so many thought he wouldn’t get picked up again by kc, that’s all
This is redemption.. I like his confidence. Glad he's back.
Love it!
100% I'm not a chiefs fan either, I just like the guy
@@panamike6178 boom! Love to hear that

He was so good! I bet he breaks lose
Same!

Yeah, true. That battering style of his will leave him susceptible to injury
Also I think CEH will be gone if Kareem shows any kind of burst at all JMO
I could see it
I have a question about a week ago i read something about Clark Hunt did not want Hunt on the team i was just wondering if that is true T Y
