Joe Thuney is a short term solution he doesn’t have the right arm length. D J Humphries is the long term solution, Thuney can cover for the next two games. Mike Caliendo has turned out to be a pretty good LG 0 pressures and 0 sacks given up. Can he keep it up??? We don’t run power enough, Andy Reid went away from Hunt when he was having a day.

This isn't an injury just from this week passed ... This is any injury that started to happen weeks ago because of avoiding sacks and then throwing awkward throws like Patrick always does ... U always run the rush of this kind of injury with him leaving his feet as he throws and not throwing from platform

I am struggling to understand why we went for it on 4th down towards the end of the game with a 14 point lead and our defense dominating. Now the outcome of that is Mahomes is hurting. WHY? GO CHIEFS!!!

Hopefully Carson Wentz can hold things down while Patrick is out for two games. If it’s not two games he’ll be out at least one game against the Houston Texans. A lot is gonna depend on how Patrick feels but he should sit two weeks have him as full health for the postseason. Running 🏃 the ball 🏈 possibly could’ve prevented Patrick’s ankle injury. Since EB has left, our offense hasn’t been great or really even good. It’s been Pat making plays when we need him too. Nagy is the problem, when EB was here we were 1st in every offensive category! That’s including the year after Tyreek left, imo that was Mahomes best year.

Everything began falling apart with the playcalling after Bienemy left. Now that he's available, they'd be stupid not to hire him back at the very least as a "consultant." It's apparent we need the help.

Mahomes is meat on a stick & our coaches & o-line are allowing other teams to feast on him, totally & seems no regard for his SAFETY, Pat has to go back to just move the sticks & score, if he doesn't get the throws off quick, he risks further injury to himself.

We should have ran the ball more. Bring Bienemy back get accountability across the board.

To be honest, I'm worried Pat is gonna convince Andy to let him play. I understand his competitive nature but for the better of the team and himself Andy needs to sit Patrick for this game.

Thanks for the video. It was upsetting to see Patrick get hurt the way he did. No excuse for continuing the ineffective pass plays when Patrick is taking a beating each time. I blame Nagy, but if it's Nagy, why didn't Andy intervene? I agree with Witchie, it looked like they were just practicing deep passes. Frustrating overall. It's a D for me.

They call reid a qb guru for a reason every qb he's ever had threw the ball all over the field. McNabb's, Garcia, Alex smith. Mahomes. He rather sling the ball then run. He's not going to change.

Trying to force the explosive plays by throwing go routes when every team we have faced is in two deep safety looks about 95% of the game is stubborn. The play calls are off and too often the route combinations are too many too deep against that look and not enough crossing routes, digs and drags. The 3rd and 4 play is one that just had me in a mood for half of the game. Worthy was wide open hit him, it is a first down and likely a lot more. You can create explosive plays without throwing go routes. Worthy is not a go route guy he doesn't have the frame or size for those 50/50 throws. He is a hit him in the seams and let his speed get him that YAC.

House, I’ve been saying what you said all year about play calling given shaky tackle play. And people don’t like to say it, but I’ve also said Mahomes has been complicit in some of his own pressures by holding on to ball too long and sometimes running out of somewhat clean pockets into sacks…while everybody was lapping up the “we’re winning” kool aid, I was concerned about this very scenario because it’s always been about the 3-peat and now we play 3 of best defenses in league to hold on to #1 seed, 2 on the road… Mahomes should sit, at least the Texans game…

I can agree that our passing offense is complex. I think that our running offense blocking schemes are broken. Hunt as a rookie and 2nd year was the best RB for this type of run blocking and since he left, we haven't adjusted although Damien Williams had some solid moments. Now under Pacheco and with Hunt back, we need to revamp the run blocking especially in the short distance runs like 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1. Too often I see lineman pulling when we need to just explode off the line and get the first down. I recognize there is a need to pull lineman and create misdirection in your scheme, but I subscribe to the old school theory of just lining up beating your man on short yard situation. Execute that consistently then move to the more complex, the problem now is we run the complex and it gets blown up probably because of the zone blocking that JD is talking about. Earlier in the year, Andy stayed consistent with running the ball, since the Bills game, Andy has abandoned the run in the second half and the offense has stalled more often than not. We don't need to run on first down every time, but the run needs to factor in more especially until we get the LT position solidified whether that is DJ Humphries or going back to Wanya or Sua. Granted the Browns run defense was good, you don't avoid it to allow their pass rush and blitz to go nuts which is what happened in the 3rd Quarter. Sacks suck but QB hits clearly suck too. I think Mahomes sitting on Saturday is probably a good thing. Let's see what we have with Carson, honestly in the preseason Carson threw the deep ball better than Mahomes has showed all year. Then we see where he is for the Steelers game that I would say he goes or like JD said rest him here too. I think it will be dependent on how Saturday's game goes. If Carson balls and the Chiefs win, then it is easier to rest Mahomes against the Steelers. The reason is I think Carson can still be effective against the Steelers and win/lose that game will be the deciding factor to who plays in the game against Denver.

Get Mike Martz ( maybe the best OC ever) out of the coaches home and let him run the offense for now on. There is nobody on the Chiefs coaching staff that has any idea how to run an offense. I'm fed up with Nagy and Andy.

Something is wrong with what we are doing offensively that put Patrick in the position to get his ankle rolled on in my opinion. Patrick’s injury falls on the shoulders of Big Red because of his play calling. He’s not running 🏃 the damn ball 🏈 enough to get anyone going. The other part of the problem is the LT position. What changes will Andy Reid make to his play calling???

Chiefconerns we got to win our last three games

TBH, MAHOMES hasn't been accurate even when he is within a clean pocket during this season, something is going on with him, he is not playing well. Additionally, the CHIEFS oline have been exposed, we don't have tackles capable to protect any quarter back. Therefore, right now we have two major issues at hand; no tackles and MAHOMES inaccuracy. If we don't come out with a game plan to minimize or eliminate these flaws, we better say good bye to a 3peat. Without resolving these issues even if we get the #1 seed and MAHOMES gets fully healthy it won't matter we won't 3peat period. WE NEED BETTER TACKLES TO PROTECT OUR QUARTERBACK AND MAHOMES NEEDS TO IMPROVE HIS ACCURACY. I know, It is going to be difficult to upgrade our game at the oline tackles position at this time of the season. Let's see how good is our coaching staff to come out with a solution and remain victorious. I'm going to be realistic though; after seeing these kind of lately outcomes I don't think we will 3peat, I feel like we have the same issue that made us loose the superbowl against the buccaneers. These next three games will speak loud about our chances to 3peat. GO CHIEFS!!!!
