@ChiefConcerns yes it's intriguing to watch. I'm not an NFL noob I've always passively watched but this is the 1st season I've properly dived in. You can really see how clever Andy Reid is at putting together a team. Everything is considered - balance of personalities, situations they'll encounter and who will step up and down to meet them.... it's a step ahead of other coaches imho.
Mahomes really has dropped off this season. He's simply not making the quick assassin surgical type reads that would really take the offense to the next level. On the majority of plays I've seen guys wide open and he isn't even looking in that direction. Hopkins and Juju are usually wide open within 3 seconds after the ball is snapped or Worthy gets open long and Mahomes is tunnell vision on the RB or Kelce in double coverage. Kelce is 35 years old and isn't beating double coverage at the rate he once did. Meanwhile Hopkins at 32, is still getting open at a much more consistent rate than Kelce and I'd still only see 4-5 targets at most. Bottom line is Hopkins needs to be the primary option at a similar rate that what Rice was getting before getting injured. There's no guarantee Hopkins will be back so it could be a half season rental so put him to work the same way Kareem Hunt has been put to work. GIVE HIM THE BALL!
How are you doing chief concerns? Been keeping an eye on KC after LRZ was there earlier. Looks like the threepeat is on!!
Good brother!! 3 peat is still full on
