Here is the thing, as a lions fan, Dan Campbell and company knows that we have no pass rush right now with the loss of Hutch. So we went for knowing that we would probably struggle a bit on defense. And it’s super early in the game where with our offense being as good as any team in the league they took a chance and it didn’t work out and yet our offense overcame against one of the best defenses in the league.
It's also tone setting. It was the first drive. It's telling your guys (and ours, in this case) that you aren't afraid to take risks, and you are here to do things differently to get a dub. I loved it. As a Vikings fan, nothing but love for the Lions. Hope to see you guys twice again this year.
