I’m a military firearms instructor in the reserves. We all have civilian jobs so a lot of our guys are Leo’s, Swat, US Marshals, etc. One of or guys who was formerly Swat and currently narcotics brought a G18 to the range and I had the pleasure of shooting it. Though not for Airsoft I think like Carson mentioned that the seller probably put it in said ad for liability purposes like the "CLP Oil can adapter" or the picture frame mounts. I am not a lawyer so I can & have been wrong before but I though there was a law or regulation in regards to toys or replica's that they can't accept parts made for real pews almost like blanks though someone alot smarter than me probably has figured out how to convert them. Lastly not to go on a rant but I won't lie more so from doing a certain job where I have come way to close (which tech would be justified) but the stress that it causes is a lot worse, as u can buy "toys" either with no brightly colored tips or ones easily removed(I bought one from Amazon for a class) & before anyone says it with paint jobs and mods if someone were to point an object even if it looked like a toy it's getting treated as real till it's deemed safe I forget the dept & not OPSEC as the media posted it after we got the safety bulletin but someone figured out a certain shotty fit perfectly inside a toy and if I remember correctly the same person had other "toys" they were able to conceal real pews into. Though due to a severe injury I don't do that job anymore but the toy I bought off Amazon besides being SAO it looked, functioned with fake cases. I use it for safety classes like which one is real which is fake. Not sure if still on YT but there was a PD that put reporters in immersion Simulator, the reason I mention it is bc how many times they made wrong choices but it gave them a slight glimpse into the mili-sec a trained person has.

As for federal agencies, some agencies have the 18 in their arms rooms, but only certain agents are authorized to use them and they generally do not carry them on a daily basis, but rather for certain specific assignments. -Gunsmith at Wasatch Tactical
@@I_Regert_Nothing u copied this answer word for word from a quora post. But if u did a little more research no law enforcement agency uses the Glock 18 as their side arm. It’s proven to be unreliable and pretty much ineffective due to the fully automatic fire. Why not use a Glock 17. …

I have been watching your channel for who the fuck knows how long... Since before flannel daddy days I think. But I love the way this channel has morphed and changed over the years. It's been a lot of fun watching you go from super serious reviews to making jabs at the comment section to having a family and getting out of the military and now it's just a bunch of bros shooting guns, talking shit and giving out very useful information in an amazing video format. Please keep it coming. God bless and merica.

I’m a military firearms instructor in the reserves. That intro. Just like the movies. No reloads. Nice.

Hey guys, live on the east of the Mississippi. It has been miserable the past week. Tonight I sit in my home watching your awesome video. As a blue collar guy this ended my week with joy. Rock on Garand Thumb and Co!
The level of cinematography in Flannel daddy’s openings is unmatched.
Yeah that was a good one. Every time I feel Micah has hit peak talent he takes it up a notch. Incredible.
Scope shot was done insanely well at the beginning🤙🏼
I carried a Glock pistol in law enforcement for my career and it was a Gen 3, and to this day I only prefer Gen 3 guns. The finish is better, and I prefer the grips on the Gen 3 guns, so it doesn't shock me that the Model 18 is still a Gen 3 design.
Holy shit these intros are good! I mean seriously you guys should make a movie with that level of production.
So glad the team braved the wilds of a Chicago middle school to bring this back and show it off to us.

I'm from Switzerland and I own a Glock 18 Gen3. it's very easy to control magdumping at 0-7 meters. I can confirm that these things get stupid hot. on my first rangeday with it I fired about 400 rounds and I couldn't hold it anymore without gloves, lol. with the Fischer FD917 suppressor I can even suppress it with the OEM barrel.
I thought full auto was prohibited for personal use in switzerland?

Everyone in chiacgo has a 17 with a switch though. A real 18 is extremely rare, I have however seen ONE 18. Just one. So they do exist. The same person also had an m93 raffica
They don't have 18's, they have switches on 17 and 19s
Technically, only non-felons can be charged by the ATF for NFA Violations. Haynes-V--US was a SOCTUS ruling in the 60s that established this rule which is still followed. They just get "Felon in Possession (of a firearm) regardless of type. That's right, the NFA only applies to law abiding citizens and is only used against upstanding members of society, it doesn't even apply to career criminals. Seriously, google the case.
That was an incredible intro. Also that is the most video game sounding full auto spray noise I've ever heard
There were companies that used to make switches for airsoft Glocks and it’s incredibly illegal to notify everyone that they worked on regular Glocks.
Because they definitely didn't, yes, why would they? Right?
Toy parts wouldn't work on a firearm, pfffft, yep
That never happened, parts aren't interchangeable, they definitely couldn't be between toys and firearms

@@donnyboi1990it’s probably more so about how sellers on websites say “for airsoft” when selling accessory parts, due to most sites not allowing anything for real firearms. It’s a loophole
@@carsonhunt4642I almost want to side with you more so because Christmas of 22 my nephew who is 11 is into airsoft but also the phase where kids play dress up adults call it larping and he has a few Glock airsoft & he wanted an American Flag back plate which my stupid SIL bought him(along with a LV3 Safariland Holster bc I knew she doesn't know anything about pews I simply asked her if she got the correct model to which she replied you don't know what your talking about their all the same we unwrapped said present to find she bought one for a Sig 226 & explained how she wasted $250+ for a toy and imagination and it takes training to use a LV3, though my nephew likes imagination playing outside which is better than screens but he didn't need a "real duty holster" one that didn't fit his airsoft & one he couldn't draw from she bought him a 226 & I mod'd holster ) but back to the back plate it took me almost 2hrs to modify it so it would fit the G17 Airsoft as with many parts they aren't interchangeable.
