I have no words to express my grattitude sir. I nvr understood the concepts in biotechnology. Since its a multidisciplinary subject , we have to learn many subjects throught the semesters . I am always dependent on your classes since they are easy to understand and the way of teaching is appreciable. Wish i had u in my college to teach us these. U cover biochem, nuceic acids , genetics , bioinformatics , biostatistics , biophysics, immunology almost everything in biotechnology. Am nothing without your classes. Your classes are saviour for my final exams. Thanks a lot.
Tell me one thing i know that radial immunodiffusion is the techniques name but how do u measure the diameter of the ring,is it visible to naked eye is there any equipment to measure it?
sir the graph you have made that is different means X-axis shows diameter of precipitin and conc. on Y-axis according to pathfinder book please suggest me which one is right.
Thanks a lot.. But you mean that I can determine Ab concentration by using a standard curve ? How can I determine Ag concentration ? Which method I have to use for this??
the standard curve axis es are as follows X: Concentration of Ag present in solution Y: Diameter (or radius) of precipitate produced so If you are given an unknown concentration and you do radial immunodiffusion you can compare the the diameter you got to the standard curve and determine the concentration.

10 years and your videos are still helping a lot :')

Even a microbiologist, who has done MD in microbiology and teaches microbiology to MBBS graduates, could not explain it so well... Well done...

Why is the diameter squared? Please explain
Tell me one thing i know that radial immunodiffusion is the techniques name but how do u measure the diameter of the ring,is it visible to naked eye is there any equipment to measure it?

what is zone of equivalence???

Thanks a lot.. But you mean that I can determine Ab concentration by using a standard curve ? How can I determine Ag concentration ? Which method I have to use for this??
He means extrapolating from known values you can determine the Ag (not Ab) concentration of an unknown by using the diameter of the Ag-Ab precipitate.
the standard curve axis es are as follows X: Concentration of Ag present in solution Y: Diameter (or radius) of precipitate produced so If you are given an unknown concentration and you do radial immunodiffusion you can compare the the diameter you got to the standard curve and determine the concentration.
I hope this helps.... and I'm right XD
Merci beaucoup
