Just made these pecans for the first time ever. I love them ! Only thing I did differently is at the 45 minute mark, after stirring them again and thinking the temp might not be high enough (they just didn't look right to me), I bumped the oven up to 300 and put them back in for 20 minutes. When I took them out, they finally all looked glossy and the coating looked like it was all melted. I let them cool, undisturbed and then broke them apart. I'd give them a 9 out of 10 ! (I used Purecane granular sugar substitute. First time using it and it's supposed to have much less "cooling" effect than Swerve). ETA: I have made these with Purecane now and also with Swerve granular. I think I may prefer the Swerve but I'm not sure. But now I tried granular Splenda and I can say that you should never use this in this recipe. I have no idea why but it's not working. There's no "goo" when I took them out to do the first stirring. In fact, they are dry and already hardening together. Big mistake. Avoid granular Splenda !
@@Marle_in_Washington Yep, me too. They turned out way too soft, almost like a doughy like consistency when done & I even cooked them for 10 minutes more!
I love watching your videos! Food is good! I’ve made many of your recipes. It’s also inspiring because I can see the effects low carb is having on you! 🙌🏾🙌🏾❤️❤️❤️
I just found your videos and the snowball cookies were always my favorites as a kid. I can't wait to try these, it has been such a long time since I had them. Thank you for the recipe.
Wonderful ideas! But I wonder if the pecans in this recipe have to be raw? Because 1 hr in the oven seems a bit much for the pre-roasted pecans which are the only variety I can find in the stores here
New follower and first time keto recipe maker. The pecans turned out great, but I tried a cookie rolled in Stevia and it wasnt anything to look forward to .I ended up having to roll them in confectionary sugar to make them edible. .Is Stevia the problem? The cookies themselves were perfect.
Hiii these look SO GOOD! I’ve done kebabs before with cayenne+cumin that are to die for. I can’t wait to try these but, please ... are the pecans raw??
*Thanks for these delicious holiday treats!*

I have made about10 of your recipes so far. Love them all. Just made the Candied pecans to take camping. Delicious! Thank you!
I love candied pecans in tossed salad.
The cookies baked into puddles. I think they need another half cup of almond flour and maybe a little coconut flour
Yeah, me too.
Yeah mine too - very disappointing! Something wrong with the recipe

I would sure make them again, I would just add less salt to the pecans😊
Omg! Thank you so much! I used to do all the holiday baking. And quit. Now i can have a few goodies.

I love anything with pecans❣️ Many of us can’t eat almonds. Is there a substitution for almond flour? Perhaps hazelnut flour❓🤔

I made mine the same way and it's the steva... but the powder sugar made them awesome
Try lakanto monkfruit powder Wal-Mart
Can I use stevia instead of Swerve?
How much is is YOUR stick of butter in WEIGHT PLEASE. Cups or grams?. I’m in Canada and we have various sticks?
Can anyone answer this- could you substitute butter for the egg whites?
No, that will not work. Butter does not have the properties of egg whites.
Hiii these look SO GOOD! I’ve done kebabs before with cayenne+cumin that are to die for. I can’t wait to try these but, please ... are the pecans raw??
Yes start them off with raw pecans I make them for years raw

Looks delicious!!! Can I use powdered sugar for the pecans ??
