And for the ones that do, it's up to us as consumers to only buy free range/pastured chicken, and NOT from farmers who cage their chickens.

Can i just... I hope we start having the same feelings for cows pigs and chickens, all who often suffer terribly when they're killed, and we have no problem with THAT... Pigs are some of the most empathetic creatures on the planet. I just find it hypocritical. That would just be for that time. Other times I’d have a regular collar and tie-off. NOBODY TAKES MY PETS!! I'm surprised we don't hear more stories about the ppl whose dogs were stolen hunting down these disgusting thieves & beating them to within an inch of their lives. If my dog or cat were stolen, I'd absolutely make it my mission to find the bastard & make him pay dearly

The yulin dog meat festival was still ongoing this year 2017 and next year the local merchants will to do so. The news reports that the sellers were hiding the word 'dog' from international and public concerns with papers or paint it black, they shamelessly claimed "the dog meat business was even more improved after the promotion of animal rescue services, thanks for them". Please everybody keep watching and save the dogs and cats in that event!

Can i just... I hope we start having the same feelings for cows pigs and chickens, all who often suffer terribly when they're killed, and we have no problem with THAT... Pigs are some of the most empathetic creatures on the planet. I just find it hypocritical.
I've got no problem eating some things like fish shrimp and other not terribly intelligent animals but i have terrible understanding how people can be awww poor dogs while they eat a burger or bacon of an animal who are amazingly intelligent and loving animals; every bit as much as these dogs.

Hey, I just want to elaborate more about the Yulin Festival. They do these stuff to dogs because at that part of China, they are very poor and need to have someting to eat, But with this said, some people are exporting dogs illegally.
At Yulin, Eating dogs is a culture.

If I ever live in China, and I have to let my dog out to use the bathroom or something near the yulin dog festival, I’m going to have a thick leather collar, along with a small chain collar, tied with up to 2 padlocks, connected to a short-ish, thick chain tied to a metal bar with again, 2 padlocks. That would just be for that time. Other times I’d have a regular collar and tie-off. NOBODY TAKES MY PETS!! NOBODYYYYYY!!!!! 🙃 if it’s a cat or something I’d keep it inside, in a room, to make sure it doesn’t escape. I love my pets ok

Does anyone remember the 8 thousand plus dogs who were abandoned at the end of the Vietnam War by the US government? They fought the war and then got to be eaten by the vietnamese. Another reason for never to have been there in the first place. The bubonic plague exploded when the European community killed off all the stray cats and dogs. Way to go humans! Let's all wake up. OK?
