My Deepest Prayers are for the future of All Dogs and Cats that they are rescued, adopted into loving homes. That the dog meat trade will end and I will the younger generation keep their wishes for families not to eat dogs anymore and stand up for those who have no voice, the innocent lives of those beautiful,loving creatures that we see as our most loyal companion one day will be a passing fad. As one brother to another on this earth I am ashamed at my own species for letting them consume you, farm you, rip you and kill you. This is so disgusting. Being a veggitarian, I feel this way about all meat farms, dog or not. I can't comprehend how people think it's normal to do things like this.
I think it's great that some of the farms are deciding to shut down and move onto new businesses. I hope these dogs find the homes they deserve. I live in NYC and I know there are some neighborhoods that I'm pretty certain still serve dog meat on the low. It's unfortunate. I have such a deep love for dogs and wolves alike. Would like to do volunteering but I was bitten so many times as a youngster that I can't shake the underlying fear that almost dogs sense when I'm around them. I like all animals.......if people cant even do anything about the eating an killing of dogs.....you think they are going to do anything about chickens, swine, cows or birds?? I think killing anything is bad.....yet dogs are domesticated.........unlike chickens, cows or swine. They dont interact with us the same as dogs either.....at least not most. Appithkia They don't torture the animals in the way that dogs in Asia are tortured before being killed. However the animals still go through hell every day. They are pumped with antibiotics (which then go into humans and produce superbugs) for the same reason as the dogs in this video. The majority of animals are bred in industrial farms, in cramped and dirty living conditions. Chickens have they're beaks cut off as chicks. Meat chickens are genetically modified to grow bigger quicker, after a month they are obese and can't walk because their muscles and bones aren't developed enough to carry the weight. Piglets have their teeth pulled or cut off and tails cut, all without anesthesia. Calves are separated from their mothers soon after birth. The mother cows are constantly pregnant as soon as they are able to breed, they are milked multiple times a day because they are bred to produce so much milk, this leads to their udders being infected and painful. They are underweight as they lose so much energy from being pregnant and constantly milked. They grieve and call for their calves until they lose their voices. And all of these animals die prematurely, whether it's because the breeder mother's body has given out and is no longer producing enough, or because they are being killed for their flesh. All these animals suffer... Sorry that was long.

I hope you do a breed introduction video on Korean Jindo breed! Lots of Jindos and Jindo mixes rescued from dog meat farms are shipped out internationally for adoption, better knowledge of the breed would really help with closing more farms and giving these dogs more good homes

Even if I tried to understand it, I can’t see why people would be farming and eating dogs as a resource, they don’t have much meat and their fur will always stink.
As horrible as animal abuse is in Asian countries it is a sad reality that equally vicious mistreatment takes place among middle eastern immigrants and in middle eastern countries. As I understand it muslims don't use dogs as a food source. They simply hate dogs and abuse them without mercy. I saw a video depicting a dog being swung by the tail and beaten and one being set on fire and burned to death. It is so dispicable, and I can't get that video out of my mind.

I sympathize. I love dogs. And yes, it is sometimes difficult to understand another culture. That's the issue I take with this. On a daily basis we westerners chow down on beef, pork, or chicken. Sometimes we're conscientious and choose buy expensive free range meats, but mostly the meat we consume come from deplorable conditions. These people in Korea aren't doing something all that different. Before throwing out your virtue heavy pious condemnations from a pedestal, research what you just ate for dinner. They are pumped with antibiotics (which then go into humans and produce superbugs) for the same reason as the dogs in this video. The majority of animals are bred in industrial farms, in cramped and dirty living conditions. Chickens have they're beaks cut off as chicks. Meat chickens are genetically modified to grow bigger quicker, after a month they are obese and can't walk because their muscles and bones aren't developed enough to carry the weight. Piglets have their teeth pulled or cut off and tails cut, all without anesthesia. Calves are separated from their mothers soon after birth. The mother cows are constantly pregnant as soon as they are able to breed, they are milked multiple times a day because they are bred to produce so much milk, this leads to their udders being infected and painful. They are underweight as they lose so much energy from being pregnant and constantly milked. They grieve and call for their calves until they lose their voices. And all of these animals die prematurely, whether it's because the breeder mother's body has given out and is no longer producing enough, or because they are being killed for their flesh. All these animals suffer...

I have a cousin with a RUclips channel to save animals and she saved 300 dogs from a dog meat trade in south Korea now there all adopted and ill tell you some of there names snowball,blackie,angel,heaven,thunder,lovely,and love and they should stop killing dogs dogs are mans best friend and they are living things not non-living things and dogs want love not pain and also humans are animals too we all are mammals

I hope you do a breed introduction video on Korean Jindo breed! Lots of Jindos and Jindo mixes rescued from dog meat farms are shipped out internationally for adoption, better knowledge of the breed would really help with closing more farms and giving these dogs more good homes
dogs are filthy, disease and bacteria ridden bags of crap! Now these germ factories can go terrorize more peaceful, safe, and quiet neighborhoods. All dogs should be shipped to Asia, not the other way around!

Even if I tried to understand it, I can’t see why people would be farming and eating dogs as a resource, they don’t have much meat and their fur will always stink.

As horrible as animal abuse is in Asian countries it is a sad reality that equally vicious mistreatment takes place among middle eastern immigrants and in middle eastern countries. As I understand it muslims don't use dogs as a food source. They simply hate dogs and abuse them without mercy. I saw a video depicting a dog being swung by the tail and beaten and one being set on fire and burned to death. It is so dispicable, and I can't get that video out of my mind.

I sympathize. I love dogs. And yes, it is sometimes difficult to understand another culture. That's the issue I take with this. On a daily basis we westerners chow down on beef, pork, or chicken. Sometimes we're conscientious and choose buy expensive free range meats, but mostly the meat we consume come from deplorable conditions. These people in Korea aren't doing something all that different. Before throwing out your virtue heavy pious condemnations from a pedestal, research what you just ate for dinner. Go rescue cows pigs and chickens
