How would you add the ps5 controller to the lisgth stream... when playing you can see the mamdo and what you are pressing is seen on the controller on the displayed screen. I saw that they have done it with obs, but do you think it can be done? in lightstream

Hey there. To get my console on youtube I have to run it through a VPN connection (Due to where I'm located). I set everything up last night but it does not show I'm live on lightstream, and the overlays are not showing on my stream. Any idea if this is fixable?
im having a problem putting my chat in the gameplay screen the "live transparent" thing when you hit the custom button does not work. i did a test stream and everything worked but that. not just what I'm doing wrong i tried to make a new overlay on stream elements and repeated your steps and now the white won't go away but i could see the chat to begin so now i have 2 problems :( please help

I did this on my PS4 and for some reason i got the same New York DNS though I live in Puerto Rico. That DNS works better than my IP DNS. Will be using this set up and see how it comes out. Thank you for this.

Awesome video but do you know if it views can see the overlay on mobile because that’s the biggest thing I’ve had trouble with. You can only view on the desktop version
Yes viewers can see the overlays on any device mobile, desktop, tablet with no issues. It’s not like overlay expert

@@PachucoTTV it worth it if you don’t have a high spec computer or a capture card, and it removes a lot of tech complications, I used lightstream for over a year when I got start before I upgraded my setup.
I stream directly to twitch and use aircast to get over to kick. Will the overlays follow to kick? My set up is a ps5 direct to twitch, and i have a laptop that i use to monitor the stream. No capture card or anything.
Looking for a video to show this in action to see if this is something I wanna try.

Great video, but a heads up. Lightstream says that you can't use video layers on Safari or iOs. Any solutions? Cause this is proving to be a pain lol

im done with the setup and i ran a test and i started seeing the gameplay screen only for a few second then it went black, the overlays are there but the gameplay screen is completely black... anything i can do???

You can set it up one time and then manage from phone. Just make sure you have auto start selected
And 1 more question please I don’t know what you did to put the name inside the follow alert it just skipped over what you said

Yes it can be done on Xbox! You just don’t have to follow the steps at the end for PlayStation. Do you have a capture card?

How did you move your text on the followers overlay ?
@dangeloddb1393 go to Text settings, Advanced. From there you can adjust it's height

Can you do a video for Xbox people? Also, I’m really having a hard time with getting chat bots set up. Can you do a chat bot for dummies? I don’t get the command stuff, I want to see if there’s a way to get a chatbot to work without having to do commands. Just a plug and play setup. Please and thank you.

I did all the steps, including the settings for DNS. Loaded a game and linked my RUclips and hit live. Came back to the Lightstream page and nothing. Cannot see the stream at all. I can see my live on my RUclips page but not on the Lightstream. Has anyone else had this issue???

@MacorMulii I chose the 720p one and after I did each step multiple times I canceled it.

Hello i downloaded the overlays and now I'm putting in my alerts but the box for new follower is empty and its showing the name of the follower underneath the box instead. Can you help me please?

@@YRFgrim6 I had the same issue but figured it out, where the screen says minus 50 change that to minus 210 that will get it in the box. He must have edited this bit out by mistake.

I followed every freaking step and my overlay alert for sub won't show even after submitting it. I deleted everything and started fresh and same thing nothing worked. Big thing though stream designz you can't get refund which is wack. Great video man but nothing is working for me.
Anyone have a fix or solution with isp over riding the manual entered dns?
Update. So I contacted my isp (internet service provider) the dns that light stream has you put as your primary dns, you also need to create a custom dns on your router to allow it to go through.

@@ScrappyGangGaming what ever dns number you have to set up on your console. Use the link in this video to see what dns number is best for your console and set a custom dns in your router to that same one.
