UPDATE: TikTok login via the streamelements plugin is bugged and will give you a 404 error code if you try logging in through the plugin. Instead, use the BAR CODE option to have it link via your mobile app! This should help you bypass this issue until they can fix the login via plugin.
I am currently using this - my only question is or observation, how do I use TikTok live features like pinning a comment, muting someone etc. You can't do that with the TikTok chat you get in Streamelements. Am I just missing something? Thank you :) Great video!
@@MDTechTips Awesome! Let me know if you find a work around or if I'm missing something. Because not having the option to pin a comment or mute/ban someone is terrifying. Too many trolls out there. LOL
Hey, i tried to use this to output to TikTok alongside Twitch main canvas but TikTok was blank...? It all seems connected & ive had live access for a while... Something happened because in the tiktok live dash on edge i could see the timer started.. Is where I'd previously go to copy the key to laste into aitum
@MDTechTips I usually prefer to stream to TikTok landscape so left it default.. I could try doing vertical and see if makes a difference.. Just test ran the default again with TikTok set as primary so didn't trigger a Twitch output and got this msg: Could not access the specified channel or stream key, please double- check your stream key. If it is correct, there may be a problem connecting to the server.
I want to say they mentioned it had to be vertical to stream to tiktok but i'd ask in their discord for clarification. I'll play around with making it my primary and see what happens!
If you go into the StreamElements tab to SE.Live Docs, you should be able to enable the TikTok Chat dock. My assumption is that you can track them there. If not, you may want to open up the TikTok Live Center and dock that into OBS with the URL. I'll update after testing TikTok this week!
Do you know if you already have access to live stream on TikTok? And if not, did it prompt you to fill out the streamelements application to get access?
Ah, another thing! I think they said they were having issues with logging in via regular login on the plugin. Use the barcode option to have it link via your mobile app!
It would be great if it wasn't complete garbage. I tried it out on my stream tonight before going live. I switched my vertical encoder and it completely wiped out all of my vertical scenes.
Yeah, it seemed fine the first time we used it but ran into some issues today with the vertical setup. It’s a great concept to work with TikTok and not have to generate a new stream key but a lot of features are still needed

Can confirm, this tool is goated. Great video MD!
You too are goated, my friend!
Can’t wait to use this!
Seems like a total game-changer with TikTok!
Had no idea this existed - Awesome video!
Glad you found it useful! Much, much more to come!
❤ Omg I am gonna try this out hope to get it going
The TikTok setup alone is worth it in my opinion!
Omg it's been a long time since I seen you!
Will be focusing more on RUclips this year!

Did you set up a vertical canvas and check that the TikTok canvas was sent to that canvas?

@@MDTechTips also thanks for the response btw...
How can I see gifts that are sent pls? I usually see these in the TikTok LS Pop Out chat.

It's a great concept but, as a software developer, this is not ready for beta
