Who are your online idols? In this 30 day challenge, I will be testing talking to a video camera every day. In this way I hope to break myself of bad habits such as looking at the filmed content as it's being made, talking directly to the camera like it is a person, and trying to set my focus on basically getting comfortable with the idea of bringing something to the table. #30daychallenge, #30daytalkingtoCameraChallenge
Please check the links below to Raj Solo, my inspiration for this. He developed his own 30 day challenge rather than be focused on paying out for a high-cost piece of paper. Please visit Raj and show him some love.

You said, "I know this is boring." What's more likely is "I worry this is boring." It's not. For someone who wants to watch and connect.
The easiest way to connect with why you're in front of the camera is to remember who you hope to serve. I find that if you communicate with "one person" in your head, it feels easier. Talk into the camera as if you're talking to one person you care about and connect with that one person through the lens.
Love the topic of the idols. I've been active on the web since 1998 when blogging was called journaling, had a RUclips channel since 2005 and a podcast starting then, too. Holy cats, tens of thousands of people come and go. I don't seek idols any more. I look for people like you who are up and coming.
