- In this video, our foreigners friends try Indian Snacks for The First Time. Our friends are from eight different countries, including Italy, France, Australia, Canada, Germany, Russia, Sweden, and Finland.

Breakfast north eastern- puri, sbji, jalebi/ aalo paratha, gobi paratha, paneer paratha/ chhola bhatura/ dip kachori
Lunch- khichdi, chokha, papad, chatani/ veg pulao/ egg fried rice
Evening snack- pani-puri/ bhel puri/ aaloo chop, khatta gola/ nd can try lot of sweets too like ras-malaai, chena piace, kazu barfi
Dinner desert- custard, sewai, kheer, falooda ice cream, Lassi
Gobi ki sbji, chicken chilli, natural mushroom, fish
These Item haven't tried these north Eastern. After this, there ll be South West east

😂When I read your comment, I was like...What can be so funny about Dahi Vada but then....Oops! I hope they were told that the "sauce" is whipped curd.
People in other countries are not use to eating curd with salt, spices and chutneys. It is an acquired taste. For them curd is always with sugar which is too sweet.

No Yrr dahi vada tastes more good with sour curd and especially with red chili powder, corriender and its masala sprinkle over it.

@@devoid6512 yes it's a very acquired taste. Many people who don't like many flavors in one bite will not enjoy it all. People should only introduce it after the foreigner has tried many Indian Street food.
I used not like dahi vada Or any dahi at all,but my friends kept ordering it every time we went out and after eating it for many times i started loving dahi vada, all the mixture of flavors I can't find in any other street food.
@@mrp5764 I think he pronounced perfectly. In southern side (my state) we pronounce " Vadai" Instead of " Vada". Thayir (curd)... Pakoda (pakora)..India has different languages
Dahi wada was so unexpected..!😂😂 .. they will need to get use to it...once you understand the concept of it...it will make sense..!! They went for it expecting it to be a sweet dish..turned out to be opposite..!

I love how genuine, respectful and appreciative their comments are. Much much better than American people reviewing food from other cultures. Also kudos to the chef! 🙌🏻 All of those dishes were exactly like what we have, not been appropriated.

Dahi vada is a tricky dish. Easy to ruin the taste.

There is no concept of chutney on a "thair vada" in the south. To South Indians, tamarind churney on a Dahi Vada is an abomination!
Maybe this dahi vada is not up to mark.

I like that Italian guy and his understanding of Indian Cuisine and actually it's similar to Italian cuisine in several ways. He gets the 'Imli ki Chutney' so smoothly which shows maybe he know the taste already.
I liked their expression on dahi vada,they were expecting as icecream before eat but after tasting it,that will gonna remember them forever..........😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣😂😂🤣😂😂🤣😂😂

Lol why do you make the words longer for them? "Aaloo ka samosa" just say Samosa, "Gajar ka halwa" just say Gajar Halwa. Etc
We got to know the taste buds of different European countries even Australia and Canada. How they all agreed on most food items really shows how India is in the Top five World food cuisine.

I think westerners are so used to expecting savoury, spicy or sweet stuff from India when we have stuff thats bland, sour and bitter too lol.. And we rarely compare snacks.. We just eat what we feel like on that day

Did not expect them to like chole chaat over samosa. Dahi vada is an acquired taste. Even I did not like it the first time I had it being an Indian. I think they will definitely like vada alone.
Thank God India is a calydoscope of flavors, and they like to try every food from every country.

They're also not used to eating vegetarian food. Almost every main dish of theirs has non veg.
Pakoras are supposed to be dry, as they are mostly paired with a cup of tea! 😄

Some how I feel like dahi vada is not the taste westerners enjoy , I havnt seen anyone liking the texture n flavour, may b we have developed a taste for it , n I believe it taste best when it's fresh , if it's kept for long the yogurt will go sour

I'm wondering what exactly you told them that created such a huge gap in expectation? Do you really tell them exactly what they are getting with maximum clues about main ingredient, type of preparation (fried, boiled, cooked) and so on?
