Guys the Khichiya was undercooked. It almost doubles in size when fried. You need to have a lot of oil in a deep frying pan and then fry it when the oil is really hot. Basically heat up the oil until it's really hot and then put the Khichiya inside the oil to fry it. It ll have the same crunchy texture all over within seconds and then you remove it ASAP from the oil before it's burnt. Khichiya is basically a type of PAPAD which are Indian crackers. There are many other types of PAPAD. You can maybe watch RUclips videos to know how to fry them. Love your videos. Keep them coming❤️
The sesame seed balls are much softer and gooey when made and eaten fresh. You are right on the Kha- ka -ra as you can sprinkle some chopped onions and tomatoes on them and goes down well with a chilled bottle of beer. So good.
The 1st u had, KHICCHIYA, can be had warm from the deep fryer. Keep finely chopped onions, cucumber, tomatoes, Jalapeño, ready. Put on top. & eat. Also mainly flavoured chips are ruffled, 'coz the ruffles/crinks increase the Surface Area of the Chip. More bang per bite....
Try some indian sweet delicacies as well you will surely love it. 1- Milk cake 2- Gulab Jamun 3- Ghujiya(famous holi festival sweet) 4- Motichur ladoo 5- Besan ladoo 6- Rasmalai 7- Rabri 8- Gajar halwa 9- Kandi peeda FYI try to eat jalebi along with rabri it tastes amazing.
love your reactions...ruffles were the first masala chips in india during 90's which were later branded as ruffle lays and then ruffles left the joint venture and lays stayed back with their new branding but they did steal the ruffles style from them and kept it going....thats why there are ridges on every lays chip in india.
@@user-uz3or9yf6l It's a potato chip brand that was launched in Indian market between 1995 and 1996. They even had huge family packs for 50 bucks. India is basically a continent with many countries in one. Communities, cultures, cuisines change after every 100 mile. There are 28 states a handful of Union Territories and each state will offer you atleast 2-3 cuisines. So I hope you get the picture of how diverse India actually is. Also there is no such thing as an Indian cuisine but a list of cuisines from India. And there is no such thing as curry spice in India. Curry basically translates to a sauce or gravy cooked with different spices and which spices are cooked together, defines the curry. Barbequed and fried items are not curries unless a sauce or gravy is added to the dish. The north indian curries are dairy based whereas the south indian curries are coconut based. You will also find plenty of cuisines to try from various regions in India. When you order Indian food ask the restaurant folks which cuisine does the dish you ordered belong to or which state. Or you could just cook it yourself too. The more popular cuisines outside India are - Mughlai cuisine - (North Indian) dishes eg Mughlai chicken, Changezi, Nihari, Mughlai Paratha, Haleem, Keema, Pulao, Kadai, Pasanda, Rogan Gosh, Mughlai biryani, etc Punjabi cuisine - (North Indian) eg Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, Sarson ka Saag, Rajma chawal, Palak Paneer, Amritsi Kulcha, Chole Bhature, Chana Masala, Dal Makhani, Naan, Bhatura etc Tamil cuisine - (South Indian) eg Dosa, Idli, Uttapam, Vada, Chettinad Chicken, Chicken 65, Sambar, Pongal, Payasam, Upma, Ambur Biryani etc Malyalee/Kerela cuisine - (South Indian) eg Prawns in coconut gravy, karimeen fish, Beef Masala fry, Puttu, Appam, Idiyappam, Fish Molee, Thalassery Biryani, Banana chips etc Awadhi cuisine - (North Indian) eg Musallam, do Pyaaza, Korma, Galouti Kebabs, Malai kofta, Rumali roti, Chaat, Aloo gobhi, Gulab Jamun, Badami Chicken, Lucknowi biryani etc Bengali cuisine- (East Indian) eg Fish in Mustard gravy, Mutton Kosha and Chaap, Mishti Doi, Prawn Malaikari, Bhapa Ilish, Muri Ghonto,Aloo Poshto, Luchi, sandesh, rasogulla, Jhal Muri, Kolkata Biryani etc Goanese cuisine- (West Indian) eg Vindaloo, Xacuti, Cafreal, Sorpotel, Bebinca, Dangar, etc Gujrati cuisine - (West Indian) eg Dhokla, Khandhvi, Khakra, Shrikhand, Kadhi, Thepla, etc Marathi cuisine - (West Indian) eg Pav Bhaji, Misal Pav, Vada Pav, Chicken Kolhapuri, Batata Vada, Modak, Bhakarvadi, etc Andhra cuisine (South Indian) - Pulihora, Pootharerkulu, Ulava Chaaru Indo-chinese - Chowmein, momos, manchurian chicken/pork, sweet & sour pork, chilly chicken/pork, springrolls, Szechwan, etc If you find any other cuisine other than these, then it's an added bonus. Dishes from my community are exotic and you won't find them in Indian cities, except places which are within 100miles from where I am. That is again how diverse India is. Indian food is definitely spicy, as in a whole gamut of spices are used as ingredients while preparing the dishes, hence it's very flavorful. But that does not mean every dish packs in heat. Only dishes which have a significant amount of chilly peppers will be hot. Infact some dishes are even on the sweeter side because of the use of dairy products and dried fruits. A typical Indian meal is eaten in a thali. A thali refers to the plate that a thali meal may be served on. The idea behind a thali is to offer all the 6 different flavours of sweet, salt, bitter, sour, astringent and spicy on one single plate. According to Indian food custom, a proper meal should be a perfect balance of all these six flavours. So a typical normal Indian thali would consist of the following- 1. Rice 2. Flat bread 3. Lentil soup (dal) 4. Appetizer ( papad/Papadum) 5. Fried vegetable 6. Vegetable cooked in a gravy sauce 7. Fresh salad vegetable 8. Choice of Meat (chicken/mutton/fish) 9. Curd 10. Pickles / chutneys 11. Sweet dish Dishes served in a thali vary from region to region and cuisine to cuisine in the Indian subcontinent and are usually served in small bowls, called katori in India. These katoris are placed along the edge of the round tray, the actual thali. Sometimes a steel tray with multiple compartments is also used. The number of dish items may increase if you are inviting a guest home. But in some restaurants, people go overboard with the thali concept, where, each thali consist of 40-50 dishes. You can search for- Dara Singh thali Bahubali thali Big Boss Thali Ravan Thali to get an idea of what I mean. Here are some Thalis from different states - food-ndtv-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/food.ndtv.com/food-drinks/13-grand-indian-thalis-you-need-to-try-at-least-once-in-your-life-1758079?amp_js_v=a6&_gsa=1&=1&akamai-rum=off#referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&_tf=From%20%251%24s&share=https%3A%2F%2Ffood.ndtv.com%2Ffood-drinks%2F13-grand-indian-thalis-you-need-to-try-at-least-once-in-your-life-1758079 The most important thing about Thalis is their unlimited refills concept. Here are some tips on eating Indian food - 1. Start off with starters like a kebab or tandoori platter usually served with tamarind sauce, mint or yoghurt sauce. 2. Next we then have the flat bread (roti, chapati, naan, puri, paratha, kulcha, bhatura) with some of the side dishes, either vegetarian or non vegetarian curry aka gravy aka sauce. You tear the bread and scoop out the meat along with sauce/gravy/curry. The warmer the bread the more the flavors and less chewy. 3. Then we take the rice into the plate and have it with the lentils or veg/meat sauce/gravy/curry and clean it all up. The hotter the rice, the more chance your mouth will get burnt. And If you having the biryani rice, you take it with a salan gravy and a raita based yoghurt dip. And it's a complete meal on its own. There are 20+ varieties of biryanis depending on which community is cooking it and the region from where it's from. And many will argue that vegetable Biryani is not a biryani. 4. Finally finish off with a sweet desert either gulab jamun, rasogulla, kheer, payasam, barfi, sandesh etc We don't scoop out the bread and rice and the sauces/gravy/ curries together at the same time. While eating with hands, use the four fingers (not the palm) to squeeze the rice into something like a small ball and then scoop it up, keeping the thumb behind the food. Then raise the hand close to the mouth and then use the thumb to push the food inside the mouth. Also many people eat samosas in their meals on RUclips but then Samosas are usually eaten as a snack during tea time. Also some people have just the bread or rice along with the side dishes as eating both bread and rice at the same time can be too heavy in a single meal. If I may suggest , perhaps if you do want to try out food from India, you can choose, if possible, one cuisine, say Punjabi or Mughlai, grab 3-4 items from that cuisines and have it. Then try another cuisine for the next round. Would love to see you try out another Indian meal again soon.😊
Appreciate your openness to embrace something completely new and different than what you have been eating. Probably you need to go state by state for next episodes.
You have to eat the hide and seek by the ridges.. like eat one line at a time😂 also u have to try maggi noodles, the original one that comes in a yellow packet(very different from the cup one), maggi pasta, haldiram aloo bhujia and when u start having the food instead of just the snacks, try the masala dosa, vadapav, pav bhaji, naan with a paneer sabzi, dabeli and theres so much more haha. The sesame balls are definitely over...its supposed to be a little gooey! And jaggery was how we used to sweeten stuff here - its basically a sweetener made from molasses and the juice of sugarcane or palm sap! Love this video guys! Great camaraderie with you and Brooke here!
all Indian food have some or the other health benefits.. our food is designed to keep our body healthy, and ofcourse every food has to be eating in a limit :). btw Jaggery is a Sweet solid which is made from Sugar cane, it is that which is comes before it is tured to Sugar with the refining process. Jaggery is rich in Iron and we use it as an alternative to Sugar.
I'd say first thing first You and your daugther seem really kind and humble and she's such a cuteness. i love indian food myself aswell I've been there a lot, one thing for sure is that the real maggi that you got comments for must be the one that's packed and has to be actually cooked, maybe give that thing a try.

If I am not wrong Deep is not a popular brand in pan India maybe in Gujrat or a brand specialized in making snacks in a foreign market.
If I could explain things to my girlfriend as well as you explained this here, I wouldn't be single 😅
Very well done 🙌🏻
Bs aise smjane wala koi teacher mil jata
You could also roast them on a bbq grill and it will cook well. Healthier too.

The sesame seed balls are much softer and gooey when made and eaten fresh. You are right on the Kha- ka -ra as you can sprinkle some chopped onions and tomatoes on them and goes down well with a chilled bottle of beer. So good.
It gets smoother after few seconds ,then you can chew it , but problem with Indian food is you have to keep your dentist next to you😂😂
awesome duo in front and one at the back of the camera ... nice content
Thank you!!!
Jalebi = Happiness ♥️
#Truth
The 1st u had, KHICCHIYA, can be had warm from the deep fryer.
Keep finely chopped onions, cucumber, tomatoes, Jalapeño, ready. Put on top. & eat.
Also mainly flavoured chips are ruffled, 'coz the ruffles/crinks increase the Surface Area of the Chip.
More bang per bite....

Thanks for saying such nice things! We appreciate you watching :)
love your reactions...ruffles were the first masala chips in india during 90's which were later branded as ruffle lays and then ruffles left the joint venture and lays stayed back with their new branding but they did steal the ruffles style from them and kept it going....thats why there are ridges on every lays chip in india.
Thanks for the information! Please subscribe and share the channel - we plan to do more soon!
16:02 yeah that's famous in India too
We eat them in schools and one of the best flavor of lays
👍
Before Lays entered the Indian market, we had Ruffles... Then they just sold the same product with the Lays brand.
What's that never heard of it
@@user-uz3or9yf6l
It's a potato chip brand that was launched in Indian market between 1995 and 1996. They even had huge family packs for 50 bucks. It was back then called Ruffles Lay's, then a few years later, it became only Lay's - no one can eat just one, the most famous potato Chip brand in India which even acquired its main competitor, Uncle Chipps. Lay's belong to Frito-Lay which is the snack brand for PepsiCo company.
@@kyakaruvlogs2784 I remember Ruffles lays 👍😋 I hope you remember Max, Icecream as well. Icecream between 2 biscuits for 5₹ back then I don't know what happened to that brand no one mentions about it .

3. Haldiram’s Aloo Bhujiya - Indian Spicy dry noodles made with potato. A must try!
4. Fun Flips Chips - Indian masala corn puffs
5. Dhokla - a famous snack from the state of Gujarat. Snack made with lentils, baking soda and curry leaves.

I love your reactions ❣️❣️❣️, By the way elaichi is cardamom.
This man is awesome at giving a feedback and explaining. Such a professional approach. I would suggest the girl can be more impressive if she elaborate her views on these products. Practicing in front of the mirror would help a lot.
Agreed. She is doing great for someone just starting out. I would be camera conscious as well. Keep up the good work familia! 😇
ELAICHI is cardamom, awesome video BTW :)
Love from India !
Do try foods like ! Tandoori chicken!
The more popular cuisines outside India are -
Mughlai cuisine - (North Indian) dishes eg Mughlai chicken, Changezi, Nihari, Mughlai Paratha, Haleem, Keema, Pulao, Kadai, Pasanda, Rogan Gosh, Mughlai biryani, etc
Punjabi cuisine - (North Indian) eg Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, Sarson ka Saag, Rajma chawal, Palak Paneer, Amritsi Kulcha, Chole Bhature, Chana Masala, Dal Makhani, Naan, Bhatura etc
Tamil cuisine - (South Indian) eg Dosa, Idli, Uttapam, Vada, Chettinad Chicken, Chicken 65, Sambar, Pongal, Payasam, Upma, Ambur Biryani etc
Malyalee/Kerela cuisine - (South Indian) eg Prawns in coconut gravy, karimeen fish, Beef Masala fry, Puttu, Appam, Idiyappam, Fish Molee, Thalassery Biryani, Banana chips etc
Awadhi cuisine - (North Indian) eg Musallam, do Pyaaza, Korma, Galouti Kebabs, Malai kofta, Rumali roti, Chaat, Aloo gobhi, Gulab Jamun, Badami Chicken, Lucknowi biryani etc
Bengali cuisine- (East Indian) eg Fish in Mustard gravy, Mutton Kosha and Chaap, Mishti Doi, Prawn Malaikari, Bhapa Ilish, Muri Ghonto,Aloo Poshto, Luchi, sandesh, rasogulla, Jhal Muri, Kolkata Biryani etc
Goanese cuisine- (West Indian) eg Vindaloo, Xacuti, Cafreal, Sorpotel, Bebinca, Dangar, etc
Gujrati cuisine - (West Indian) eg Dhokla, Khandhvi, Khakra, Shrikhand, Kadhi, Thepla, etc
Marathi cuisine - (West Indian) eg Pav Bhaji, Misal Pav, Vada Pav, Chicken Kolhapuri, Batata Vada, Modak, Bhakarvadi, etc
Andhra cuisine (South Indian) - Pulihora, Pootharerkulu, Ulava Chaaru
Indo-chinese - Chowmein, momos, manchurian chicken/pork, sweet & sour pork, chilly chicken/pork, springrolls, Szechwan, etc
If you find any other cuisine other than these, then it's an added bonus.
So a typical normal Indian thali would consist of the following-
1. Rice
2. Flat bread
3. Lentil soup (dal)
4. Appetizer ( papad/Papadum)
5. Fried vegetable
6. Vegetable cooked in a gravy sauce
7. Fresh salad vegetable
8. Choice of Meat (chicken/mutton/fish)
9. Curd
10. Pickles / chutneys
11. Sweet dish
Dishes served in a thali vary from region to region and cuisine to cuisine in the Indian subcontinent and are usually served in small bowls, called katori in India.
You can search for-
Dara Singh thali
Bahubali thali
Big Boss Thali
Ravan Thali
to get an idea of what I mean.
Here are some Thalis from different states -
food-ndtv-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/food.ndtv.com/food-drinks/13-grand-indian-thalis-you-need-to-try-at-least-once-in-your-life-1758079?amp_js_v=a6&_gsa=1&=1&akamai-rum=off#referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&_tf=From%20%251%24s&share=https%3A%2F%2Ffood.ndtv.com%2Ffood-drinks%2F13-grand-indian-thalis-you-need-to-try-at-least-once-in-your-life-1758079
The most important thing about Thalis is their unlimited refills concept.
Here are some tips on eating Indian food -
4. Finally finish off with a sweet desert either gulab jamun, rasogulla, kheer, payasam, barfi, sandesh etc
We don't scoop out the bread and rice and the sauces/gravy/ curries together at the same time.
Please try kaju katli and milk cake sweets from india .

Thanks for the info! We really appreciate your support :)
@@SnackInvestigationUnit any time...and hello from India!!
all Indian food have some or the other health benefits.. our food is designed to keep our body healthy, and ofcourse every food has to be eating in a limit :). btw Jaggery is a Sweet solid which is made from Sugar cane, it is that which is comes before it is tured to Sugar with the refining process. Jaggery is rich in Iron and we use it as an alternative to Sugar.
Great sir, keep it up 😍😍😍😍

I'd say first thing first You and your daugther seem really kind and humble and she's such a cuteness. i love indian food myself aswell I've been there a lot, one thing for sure is that the real maggi that you got comments for must be the one that's packed and has to be actually cooked, maybe give that thing a try.

If I am not wrong Deep is not a popular brand in pan India maybe in Gujrat or a brand specialized in making snacks in a foreign market.
Haldiram, Bikaner, Balaji, Parle, Britannia are the popular brand across pan India.
The biscuits that you guys taste are orange flavor with the essence of cardamom know as elaichi in India.
Maggie is a national instant noodle of India consumed by all from the elite people to the poor.
You guys should also try son papdi, Wai Wai instant noodles, Mur mura, lasun bhaji, allow bhaji, etc.
Deep is a gujarati brand
So elaichi is Indian spice that tastes like lemon grass when added sweteness to it but it's a spice so it's used lot in Indian spices thing
