???My wife is panamanian and we built a retirement home in El Salado Panama in 2010 which we visit yearly. My panamanian family is a great source of information but I am considering buying the Relocation Guide to fill the information gaps. Also, we are retiring soon and I would like to find short term rentals from 1 to 2 months at a time to maximize our retirement. Do you think the Relocation Guide would be a good buy for me?

??? If you can stay in Panama for 180 days to explore and decide if you want to move there must you have a return ticket to your place of origin by a certain date ? I have been watching your videos for a long time and want to come next year. I was headed there this year but I broke my knee while visiting friends in San Diego, Ca. Still determined to get out of the US and hopefully Panama will be my next home. I practice my Spanish daily . Thank You for all the great information. Hopefully I’ll heal well and can take one of the tours next year.

You must show a ticket out of Panama not more than 180 days after you arrived. And leave Panama. But it does not have to be a ticket back to your departure city.

      Seems onward tickets work also.

Hi Jackie, my husband and I are an elderly gay couple. (over 70 and over 80).
A good friend of ours (performed our wedding ceremony) lived in Boquete for several years with his wife and spoke only of wonderful people and of the city. However, I have heard and read conflicting opinions of the safety and welfare of gay folks in Panama. I have yet to find retirement info for gay folks in Panama? Do you have any knowledge or perhaps from people you trust? The US just is no longer a financial or political environment conducive to the happiness and satisfaction of living in retirement. Help? Anyone?

Hello Douglas. In Panama, if you're a nice and friendly person, you'll be treated with respect. No one cares if you are gay or not gay in Panama. Come see how you can LIVE BETTER for LESS in Panama.
