Fluid Film is designed as a corrosion inhibitor to spray underneath your car/trailer chassis - white lithium does resist washout well but not nearly as well as Fluid Film or some other dedicated chassis corrosion inhibitor.
I have a 5 gallon pump sprayer that I fill with fresh soapy water and flush my brakes and springs after I launch my boat. I figure its going to sit there all day, why not rinse it then as well.
Not suppose to pump directly into the fittings, you will blow out your seal. That is what I was told. Instead you need to take out your bearings and repack them
You have many rusted spots. As you are not fixing them, you could easily and cheaply touch them up with "Krud Kutter The Must for Rust" (do an RUclips search for it). You could use the spray or you could buy a jug and apply it with a brush. Do it during a cool day to avoid the fast evaporation of the liquid. You might want to apply it several times.
Thank you! Finally a good video that goes beyond just the bearings. Exactly what I was looking for. You got a new subscriber!
Absolutely useful info brother. I'm new to the boat game so I appreciate the help.
I spent a ton getting my trailer rebuilt and hope learning from mistake helps others. Glad you got something out of it!

Lanolin is a great thing to spray on things you don't want to rust and is better at it than grease. Lithium grease is great for lubrication though.
Thanks for posting this some really great info
Thanjs for the helpful video Fixin.🙂
Remember that God loves you! 🙂
Great short video!
Great video, thank you
You should use some wire wrap for all those wires to keep them neat and out of the way of harm.
PB BLASTER for your leaf springs
