Montenegro unveils part of Chinese-built highway

Montenegro's top officials were joined by Chinese representatives as they unveiled the first section of their so-called 'highway of friendship'. But critics say the project has plunged the Balkan nation deeper into debt.

The report failed to report the road was built in a very difficult terrain. That 40 km section is consisting of 20 bridges and 16 tunnels.

They deliberately failed to report that Turkish, American and Germany company also make bid for this project but lost to China. China's price tag is 20 millions euros/km and other competitor price tag are around 50% more expensive. Other similar project in the region cost up to almost double of that amount. If Turkish, American or Germany had won the project, Montenegro would be in deeper debt trouble.
