To everyone coming to cry at the trailer, Our hero and savior Wollay will update the game soon. He confirmed that Exp is coming back, skill tree is coming back too. Maybe no region lock? Plus he said he would add big cities with quests, and one last thing is a new gamemode that is exactly like the alpha. Be happy now fellas.
Wollay im not angry, but you did take away everything we loved about the original. I know its alot of work, but maybe with the money you earned its finally time you hired a team and a research team to see what we want? because honestly i feel heartbroken. I didnt pirate for 6 years. I waited patiently... and when I came back it wasnt the game I knew and Loved before. Please fix it, don't disappear again. the world is always going to be toxic but the best we can do is shut them up by doing our best. so please bring leveling back in, and give us more skills and make it more of a skilled based thing, make it so we can upgrade our stats so that even if we were region locked(which I think needs to go) we wouldn't be starting from nothing in each new biome. but region locking just ruins the progression feel and it doesn't reward us for anything. but none the less I believe in you, but please bring a team. It's one of the most friendly communities I have seen in a very long time, people even welcomed Wollay and Pixxie back with open arms and encouragement after they took our money and went radiosilent for basically 6 years. And I hope you don't mean the people who are rightfully calling them out on their bullshit now "toxic". They sold the game in a shitty barebone state, deleted most social media, the blog, the steam bug report forum and fucked off with our money AGAIN. If the devs want to keep their community in the friendly way it was they will have to put work into it, which includes opening their mouths and talk to us. Currently they deserve all the backlash that is coming towards them.

@@littlemoth4956 We've been waiting six years for a new update, and when it finally lands, it has less content, worse mechanics and less replayability than the original proof of concept alpha release from over half a decade ago. That takes some real skill to fuck up that badly. And everyone else have already said exactly what I waned to, so at the very least I'm going to voice my displeasure because it's my god given right to be angry for having my time and hopes wasted. We also know he's going to dip and run again, as he's yeeted his dev blog and there's been nothing but radio silence since the game got released.

well the game was promising when it came out in alpha. and for me it was the first one of his kind. but suddenly there was no news and many poeple (me included) thought the game was dead (until i found out he was giving some information on twitter). so after that i was looking for another game like this and found trove... it was nice but... not the same. but i am surprised to see the release now and i am hyped and can't wait.

@@izeckx Because they were all getting hyped for the release. But it turned out to be a mess. An empty husk of the game it used to be, save for a few minor improvements. But half of the game's content, mechanics, and beloved aspects have been cut. One step forward, 3 steps backs. And that's over 6 years (but if you followed his twitter activity, you'd see he worked on the game for 7 years and a half, scrapped it all, then gave us another game he made in 5 months or so). Now the dev is ghosting his fanbase yet once again, as soon as he released the game.
In my opinion, this is a perfect trailer for this game. No big flashy words going "Explore Expansive Worlds" or whatever, just showing off the gameplay and gameplay elements. Totally buying the day it comes out. Love you Wollay!

If this had been one of those hype trailers I would have clicked off after 30 seconds. This is just showing off the game in a perfect way. Showing some scenery, some events, some combat. Takes you on a journey and makes you want to continue the journey. Wollay is smart

World generation / World building: huge yes - just a bit empty but looks amazing, Fighting: kinda the same still very fun experience music: yes graphics... honestly dont know what to say but the progression system is so hard boring and broke and thats the thing wollay would need to fix to make it a masterpiece again tbh. cant see another bad point about this game.
@@Scorpion2lol There is no progression, it gets resettet in every new biome, thats a factor thats destroying the game for many people, im one of them. i still enjoyed the hours in my first biome :9 so i hope that gets fixed, i dont want to play the alpha. I like the new world itself.

Hey Wollay, Since the release of Cube World on the website, me and my friends were the first few thousand to play this game. And when the game was updated and released on Steam, I was ecstatic. And altough many others have already given their opinions and written scathing reviews at the beginning of the release till today. The time is still right for you to repair your reputation with these people. I have high hopes not just for the game, but also for your return. Although I am not certain whether these words will reach your eyes, I am sure many people like me think the same way. Your loyal fans and I will await your return to this game or hear at least something from you. Despite the fact that it may take decades or even centuries. Wollay, we still believe in you. Make sure you stay hydrated and take care of yourself. Just another fan.

@@izeckx Because they were all getting hyped for the release. But it turned out to be a mess. An empty husk of the game it used to be, save for a few minor improvements. But half of the game's content, mechanics, and beloved aspects have been cut. One step forward, 3 steps backs. And that's over 6 years (but if you followed his twitter activity, you'd see he worked on the game for 7 years and a half, scrapped it all, then gave us another game he made in 5 months or so). Now the dev is ghosting his fanbase yet once again, as soon as he released the game.

In my opinion, this is a perfect trailer for this game. No big flashy words going "Explore Expansive Worlds" or whatever, just showing off the gameplay and gameplay elements. Totally buying the day it comes out.

He doesn't try and hype us up, when I saw the length of this trailer I thought "guess I'll watch like a minute of it" but I sat through the whole thing. If this had been one of those hype trailers I would have clicked off after 30 seconds. This is just showing off the game in a perfect way. Showing some scenery, some events, some combat. Takes you on a journey and makes you want to continue the journey.

It looks handmade rather than procedural, it's genuinely gorgeous.
No Man’s Sky actually has very pretty procedural worlds. The game itself is relatively generic, but the procedural generation is pretty good

@@Scorpion2lol There is no progression, it gets resettet in every new biome, thats a factor thats destroying the game for many people, im one of them. i still enjoyed the hours in my first biome :9 so i hope that gets fixed, i dont want to play the alpha. I like the new world itself.
