    Great. I just got over the sticker shock of buying the snare and ride. Told myself I don’t need digital hats.
    Well, fuck me dead, I need digital hats.

    My issue with this hi-hat, whether it be on the 50 or the 50X is that there are not enough intervals from fully open to tightly closed. It's only 6 I believe. When you are trying to lock on to a certain degree of openness for, say, a Beatles song, it's very difficult to keep the pedal exactly where you need it. Granted, the issue is in the module and not the actual cymbals. They just need more samples in between open and closed.

    Very useful, thanks a lot ! Which kit were you using ? The Acoustic one ?

      Yeah kit #1 the acoustic one. I might've changed some of the instruments though, but I forgot. The hi hat is Traditional lathed HH. Crashes and ride are the dark ones.

    The foot splash on mine doesnt go off as well. It has to be way open before I hit it. I even messed with the foot splash settings

      You can turn off the choke? Mine is always glitching and thinking it's being choked.

    would you say its worth the upgrade from a regular old VH10?

    • @808drumz9
      @808drumz9  2 года назад

      Depends on what you need it for I think. The older hi-hats still get the job done, but the newer one has a more realistic feel that is subtle. If you feel your VH-10 is lacking realism, it might be worth considering the upgrade. But of course, it's still not 100% realistic. I upgraded from a VH-11 and it was worth it for me because I wanted a more accurate hi-hat to practice my technique.

    holy sh*t dude, gotta put so much weight on it to close?! lol

    • @808drumz9
      @808drumz9  25 дней назад

      Not to close it normally. But it'll sense if you put extra weight on and make it sound even tighter.
