Hey Kay! Pro tip for cooking bacon: don’t put oil in the pan with it. It cooks in its own oils it releases when it gets hot. This way you won’t accidentally get splashed with it. I hope this helps, love!
you're dreaming. You want a bit of oil for heat transfer. You also get lots of water released from the bacon and possibly also the sausages which is the real reason it is spitting.

Hey Kay, others have probably pointed this out as well, but cook the bacon first on it's own. The fat/oils form the bacon will release into the pan and that can then be the oil you use to cook everything else. Less oil, less "spitting" and the oil/fat from the bacon tastes better than just some vegetable oil you would pour in.
@@koffz-nl2118 Her cooking has progressed quite a lot compared to her first videos! There is no need for negativity, periodt. I hope you are having a good day 😌
Kay! The reason why its spitting is because you’ve added to much oil in the pan! And when the fat from the bacon and sausages it will spit more! Just use less oil to avoid getting hurt

Kay, I recommend using a wooden or plastic utensil only when working on a non-stick pan. Using something like a metal fork will damage the pan in the long term and create areas which will be super sticky on the pan

Prevent sticking
When a pan is preheated, moisture from food evaporates and fat glides food around the pan.
Improve flavor
If oil isn't hot enough, food will soak it up instead of sizzle, which can affect the taste. Preheating also reduces the time fat spends in direct contact with the pan, which can help prevent it from breaking down and releasing toxic chemicals.
Achieve desired results
Preheating can help caramelize proteins, create crispy crusts, and transfer heat quickly. For example, preheating can help create a puffy Dutch baby.
However, there are some situations where it can be beneficial to start with a cold pan, such as when cooking chicken thighs for extra crispy skin. You can also use a cool pan to gently soften vegetables and draw out their flavors.
If you do decide to preheat your pan, you can use a splash of water to test if it's hot enough. When the pan is ready, a mercury-like ball will form with few other small balls of water. If the water disperses quickly, the pan is too hot and you should let it cool slightly.
