Very nice! I'm glad you left so many 914 body parts on it, all the other tube frame 914s i have seen usually only have the firewall and cowl left (as required to be able to still run it as a 914).

Very cool build! 👏👏 Add some Orings to the rear shocks to give you a max travel distance. If the wing is pushing too hard it will squat when up to speed and up. 🤙

For the throttle I j stalled a toothed belt pulley on the throttle body and made a clamp that attaches to the end of the push pull cable. Where u have ur cable mounted I put an idler pulley for the belt to roll over. The cable is mounted near the clutch slave. Buttery smooth throttle. Just need to switch to throttle by wire now for launch control in the Thing.

Thats lame when they do that, plus when the cut off the sail panels I believe it ceases to be a 914.

Ive never actually welded axles before, but they seem to hold. The mil is my favorite skill ive picked up recently.

It has the wiring for it but not the will for a 700$ throttle body
