- Christmas has arrived in Aix-en-Provence! Each year there is a special tradition that takes place. People dress in the traditional Provençal clothing for the occasion, they sing, dance and play music and attend the blessing of the Santons. I also share the beautiful Christmas Market that lines up along Cours Mirabeau.

Must have been special for you too to warch,despite maybe its not your first time. But one never get bored with such moments I believe. It was very special, it was my first time actually seeing the blessing of the Santons so I was so glad I got to bring you all along with me. I ended up getting a candle without scent as Sophia, my cat is very sensitive to smells so she is actually currently making it for me and I’ll be picking it up this week🙌🏽 very happy to bring something cozy into my home. I do need to try some goodies at the Christmas Market so maybe I’ll take you guys along with me next week as well! ☺️ Hope you are having a lovely Sunday!

Which kind of Christmas is REALLY your favorite ? In Provence or in California ?
I love the Christmas Markets and the different traditions here but I prefer Christmas in California because my family is there and I really miss my family traditions and being with my loved ones during the holidays. I hope you have a lovely Christmas Season 🎄
What can a vegan eat at the markets? The chestnuts only.
Sadly there isn’t enough demand yet here in France but it’s coming, I’m seeing more and more vegan things pop up. I heard the churros are vegan but it’s always safe to ask before hand. Luckily in Aix I have a couple vegan dessert options at a couple of different places.
