We'll be in Marseille this September for four nights, and we're planning a day tour to Aix-en-Provence and possibly adding Cassis too, as there are packages for taking either tour. My question is are we better off doing just Aix-en-Provence without Cassis? I'm guessing it would allow more time there vs throwing in Cassis as well.
I don’t know about Cassis, but we’ve spent 4 hours in Aix and felt it was quite enough to see everything we wanted to see. Maybe add an hour or two for proper meal since we only went to café. Both Aix and Marseille are very beautiful so I’m sure you’ll love it there!
