he's just really down to earth. his humor is really self aware and he doesn't think highly of himself, and that's why people like him. he's also just hilarious
another thing about ludwig is he does not forget his roots, he played smash and always brings up smash once in a while or even vouches for smash in his events, like that chessboxing event. he also doesnt forget his friends. on the other hand theres mizkif who always forgets his roots.
the thing i really like about him is that he's confident enough to make fun of himself, there are too many people who just get to themselves and Ludwig isn't like that.
Some people are just born to be entertainers Ludwig is a prime example of that he is naturally entertaining
Everything hes done feels like it leads here too, ya know? Even the degrees he got, talking and conversation is his skill

Never heard of him before but he seems cool and I liked how he treated every question with a serious answer. I hate when some guests just laugh off the question or make up a dumb answer.

He’s incredibly entertaining and I love it, my jokes in how I present are very similar in how he did it (I did it like that before I watched him), add a little shock and be a bit awkward, he does it so much better tho, I love it
he's insanely funny and charismatic. i discovered him on a youtube video where he was essentially doing improv of a comedy court case and it was highly entertaining. lots of respect to this guy

Honestly my favorite part of this interview is he never quickly dismissed a question, even the ridiculous ones. Always come up with an anecdote or some funny comments

Yeah, I mean that's pretty much his entire job. Talk to a live audience for hours on end and make them want to stay.
Actors are known for playing a character. Ludwig is a character (im not saying Ludwig is faking his personality, im saying thats just who he is)
It's amazing how much more natural this feels compared to most celebrities, despite nearly all of them being used to being on camera. Really shows the difference between Hollywood and the internet
Yeah but also he has more live screen time in total than any actor. I mean his total screen hours could very well be higher than all of their other guests combined.
I mean the subathon was 720 hours straight of him being live.
They're on camera for completely different reasons though. Like a live-show host would also be better at being in front of camera for this type of stuff than an hollywood actor. They all involve cameras but they are completely different jobs.

Ludwig was so happy and hopeful when he asked if he had to do the luddy. He wanted them to say yes so badly.

seriously gave me mr peanut butter vibes a whole personality
What I particularly love is how Ludwig always feels super real. He's not afraid to admit that he has bad days, he's not always perfect, and he's made some questionable decisions in his life - and he'll be the first to tell you that he's an online creator, so what you see is a narrow snippet of his life that he's intending for you to see.

I think this interview is a good example of one of the reasons he's such a successful streamer, he's just naturally entertaining.

One of the few guys in the streaming world where I can genuinely say he deserves all of it! As a member of the smash scene I can also say, he never forgot his roots and is a gift to the community.
Ludwig is just so naturally entertaining and charismatic, this is definitely one of the best Wires interviews I’ve watched
This is one of my favorites. He legitimately seems like a great guy and is super honest, whereas on many of these I can hear the publicists talking through the careful/sanitized celebrities.

Ludwig has such an easy/casual charm. And such an amazing mix of humorous and serious.
Ludwig varies between 5’11” and 6’4” and it depends entirely on how he does his hair
I think streamers and content creators are so interesting for interviews like this because they're so modest. Ludwig is like, fully aware he's out of his element in this format, but he just sort of owns it for the content, and that's what makes him one of the best.

i don’t know much about ludwig but i really love how down-to-earth he seems in this video. he has big normal guy vibes and i love that.
I like that ending message because it's so true. We idolize them for the roles they play or because we just see them almost everywhere. You'd be surprised to find out that most of what they do on their time not working is just watching TV, hanging with family, playing games, going to a restaurant or fast food, reading a book, etc. Normal people stuff.
i appreciate how genuine Ludwig seems. He’s really trying to change and improve the streaming community. Bro really deserves all he’s accomplished in this industry.

A lot of streamers just seem sort of lucky to be where they are. They sit on stream play video games and somehow they have this huge following. Ludwig however is constantly putting time and energy into how he can reinvent the form. He’s always putting on events like Melee tournaments, game shows and chessboxing. He deserves his success and I can’t wait to see what he’s got in store for us.

Ludwig's Chessboxing event already happened. It was awesome. I think it's great that he's big enough to do one of these Wired interviews and it's nuts how far he's come. He's super fun and I'm excited for his 2023 events.

It's kind of amazing just how real you feel this is. Sometimes you'll watch two actors and it'll feel like they're acting. But I guess he streams so much that he can't be anyone other than himself and that makes this video so much more informative

I have always adored these interviews, and the fact we got our boy Ludwig on here now is just INSANE. Grats man! Can't believe you didn't wear crocs though.
What did I learn with this interview?
He has cultured parents
Mom is a language teacher = More reading since birth = More Knowledge with words = More ease with communicating words, add charisma into that you have a good way to be a streamer
He himself has 2 degrees that add on into his field perfectly
He humbled saying that be famous is being lucky, I agree that you need a certain amount of it to be seeing by the masses but what he is and what he built to be blessed by luck is all on him.
Everything he does and accomplished is well deserved because it shows how hard he worked.
I’m glad he honestly explains that A LOT of success with this area is TIME & LUCK. I knew a guy who tried to do streaming. Said it was “easy.” Streamed 4 times a week, moved back in with his parents to save up for equipment and stuff. He quit after 6 months or so.
You should watch Ludwigs video where he creates a new yt chanel to prove its not just luck.

I had never watched Ludwig before but this interview made me want to tune into his streams! He seems naturally entertaining and fun to watch.
He’s honestly very fun to watch and seems like a genuine dude who puts his money into making his communities better for the little guys. I’d say the Mogul Mail yt channel is a good entry point into watching Ludwig if you aren’t usually into watching streamers, since his videos there are like 8-15 mins. His main RUclips channel also has edited versions of some of his streaming challenges and events (in additions to uploads of full streams). I am pretty bad at consistently tuning into streams, so Mogul Mail is where I get most of my Ludwig fix.
Fluid is the best way to describe this person, words just flow in his mouth and he makes sentences with it

Ludwig is a legend. I met him in San Diego and he's lovely to chat to. There's always a fear that your favourite online personalities are shitbags behind the scenes and it'll come out but Ludwig really is nice.

A lot of people praise Ludwig for his feature in this video, but I'm also gonna give a ton of credits to WIRED, they did a tremendously great job getting contemporary public figures and influencers, like youtubers and streamers, in this series. Who knows we will see a tiktoker that we never know before being interviewed here.
I wouldn't never imagine Ludwig on WIRED. I remember watching him with 200 subs on Twitch, he was a small personality in Melee scene, glad where he is now, happy for him
