Same thing happened to me once on an old AMF iron head. Slowing down at an intersection and had to stop suddenly, slammed it into first gear and blew the transmission. I'd rode that bike 15k miles, but every other bike I had owned was left foot or hand shift. Some impulses can't be stopped.

Also the gas/brake being flip flopped, just tell people that's an anti-theft design to make the buggy more secure! haha SO JEALOUS MAN! I just need to finish mine! Hoping I'll be doing a similar first drive before Christmas!

Installed a titanium valve train, stage 2 hot cam, ported head, FCR carb, sparks full exhaust, & the list goes on.. man that EX ripped for what it was!! Cool Buggy Bro.!! SXS payments & porky manufacturing have nothing on building your own custom rig!! Very nice. ✝️

Remember to try and keep that motor high in the rpms, especially with the extra weight. sounds like you are avoiding revving it out all the way where its making the majority of its power. Awesome lookin machine great work.
Dude it’s a busa engine it makes plenty of power for that little machine through the entire rev range but as the machine gets heavier you can’t wrap them up as high as normal. Busa a fairly heavy machine to start with prob not muCh less then this really.
In the west coast desert and in Baja when you have a mix of a trophy truck and a buggy it's called a TRUGGY .. great job man turned out great keep doing it the way you do where you show it all including your mistakes
Any slack in the chain could double or triple the force put on it depending on how much slack. Put a heavy spring loaded idler gear and running that size chain might work just fine forever.
500k subs, and you move into a small shop of your own! That thing is mean looking! It's basically a dwarf rally raid buggy! So give it light-weight body panels througout, fenders, and big mud flaps! Then a bunch of rally lighting, including fogs. Hella, PIAA, etc. Also, get yourself an Amsoil, and a Steel-It sponsorship. 😉
Try double chain.... double 90 is about unbreakable....and huge lol.... definitely can get double 60 n that would be perfect i bet.... awesome build brother ❤️🇺🇲

I dont think the chain is skipping, I think its just slapping. Throw an idler sprocket on there to keep it tight and I bet that noise goes away. Sounds just like a chain slapping a swingarm on a bike when she's a little loose :)
The air box is made from polypropylene, that stuff is very hard to glue anything to, keep an eye on your sir box, it could fall apart at some point. Also out of curiosity, what epoxy did you use for that?
You know, it might seem backwards but, I myself would like to see a revisit of the 88cc mountain bike. I’m curious what top speed you would be able to achieve using everything you’ve learned since then.
i really like your builds you have skill and i wish that you invest more time in filming editing more in detail to get that viewers connection that would improve your channel ower all👍 it looks like pedals needs to be redone also your siting position i think as a truck should be more vertical and raised that would help with leg room cuz they also lack of space knees are way to bend and near to steering wheel and pasangers to pannel.
i used to have a right side shift and clutch bike. it just worked out that way. gave me a little reassurance that nobody would steal it, because they wouldn't be able to drive it

You should redo the gas pedal back to the right. You'll forget this reversed layout if there's an emergency situation. Stay safe.

You should gusset your cage in the front window bay and you right and left side from your piller bars to the horizontal roof tubes

It's possible the compression just isn't consistent along the cylinders. but no way I was not going past 50% throttle
