Putting a Packard on a list of worst cars is just wrong. They were made from top quality materials with true craftsmanship. Were they outdated, yes, but they were as reliable as an anvil.
Why is it that everytime a bad review of an American automobile is given its done by a non American? You don't hear of Americans going to Europe to critique their fine line of crap
With push button everything on today's cars, why call mercuys push button transmission gimmicky? And it's ride was smooth. A perfect vehicle for handling Eisenhowers new interstate highway system!

View the 50 Chev Olds or Buick if you want to actually see and hear about old design,(Chrysler Ford as well), underpowered like the Chev and certainly not any better design than the Packard. SO many pundits in the auto arena like this person/ persons that know truly very little about auto history, design and Quality. Soon as I hear their baloney early in the scheme I just laugh and cancel Out the sound.
