WOW!!! Welcome back, Joe! Awesome to see a video. Congrats on the move again and the new start. It is just great to see what you have happening and the stock again after all this time. The added space is definitely a boon over the garage! Looking forward to what you come up with in this new start!
Great video let's see more of you , dont start slacking we need to see people like you railway modellers , and a Happy New Year to you . I do hope we see more of you .
Thanks John! Really appreciate that! 😊 That's certainly one of my goals this year to be more visible on RUclips, so hopefully all goes to plan ahaa! Happy new year! Joe
Good to see you back. Looks like a nice space to work in. Hopefully, now you're settled back in you'll soon be back on the layout and posting more updates.
Welcome back, and let's hope this is the first of many videos from you this year! A suggestion for the area behind the regional railways 158, could be a couple of billboards! Scale model scenery do them, and I've used them on my platforms, and designed my own advert for one, so an idea for you to consider! Hope you're enjoying the new house!
Finally found time to pop over from Instagram to take a look at the layout. It’s been good to see trains running at DC & the plans you have seem very well thought out, I’m looking forward to seeing how this all progresses. I really like the DMU servicing area & the track work behind it, (glad I’m not wiring it all up! ⚡️) Please find somewhere for the busses, your collection of WM buses is great, always reminds me of my yoof. Cheers John b 😎
Thanks John! Think I much prefer Instagram too these days although it can't handle a half hour video! 😅 Yep deffo need to find somewhere for my buses! That wiring won't be fun ahaa! Joe
Welcome back Joe. Nice new plans and it looks a reasonable sized layout to work on. The fiddle yard will give you lots of running potential but theyre never big enough lol. Great comeback video cheers Andy
Excellent video.... as it's Dudley / Birmingham why not have a section of canal.. Similar to Everard Junctions... The ramp could have been the original access for horse & carts... Down to the canal yard....
I would have tried to put the ramp close to the back seen as the buses look like half the real size compared to the loco's, so would look better in the distance if you know what I mean my friend.

That's a great idea! Perhaps some period films or rail posters might do the trick! Thanks for the suggestion! Cheers, Joe

@@DudleyCentral think I need to get my butt in action with my layout 🤣😂
@@sunnybankmodelrailway8681 ahaa that old saying! I've said that many times myself!

That's a great shout Mark! Yes a canal is a must, where to put it is the next question though! 😅

Might give it a try to be fair. Nothing is glued down so plenty of time to play around with different ideas! Cheers, Joe
@DudleyCentral That sounds great, I think some of the model vehicles are not to scale, but they say they are.
@@PeckhamHall yeah know what you mean!
