Biden's in a stage of cognitive decline. He's likely in a stage that's called Sundowning. He can go in and out but sundowning occurs in the late afternoon. No one gets better as dementia sets in, it just gets worse and patterns of memory loss are not predictable. Example a typical mean spirited person can become kind and gentle, while a even keeled person can become mean. Either way, later stages of dementia are heart breaking. As Piers shared, Biden was probably on medication when he was in the debate. I have a double major in Gerontology. Understanding aging.
