I got a 70 caprice no post 4 door sport sedan 38,241 ACTUAL miles I love driving these old chevys
My very first car was a 1970 Chevy caprice...white with black vinyl top..56,000 original miles..it drove so smooth..like a Cadillac.
I bought it in 1978 for $750.00
When I was 16 yrs old I came home from high school on my bike and my mom said to me "I got a surprise for you" my mom took me outside and gave me the keys to a 1970 impala, identical as this one here but mine was that other ugly green color, she said she had paid $600 for it. I had a lot of fun with my first car, I will never forget my mom for that kind act!

Dan Hoffer restored my dads 70 impala custom in 2000 . We started the restoration 9 week prior to the impala national in spearfish SD. Delivered the car to my dad the weekend before the nationals. He entered it the judged division and took 1st place. He sold it to a guy in Florida six year's later and still regrets selling it.. this is a early 70 impala they had a recall on the taillights. The lenses with the reverse lense dont have a clear bulde in the middle of the lens . Early 70s were flat late 70s had a bump in the center of the clear lens.
For a near 50 year old car it's not too bad. Wish I personally would have aged that well.
What a nice looking car. Impala's were all 4 door in my home town. This is a true beauty.

Nice car!...I cant tell you how many of these were parked daily in my high school parking lot. Back in the day you could pick these up cheap like 400 to 500 dollars and they were easy to work on. I cant believe they sell for 10 grand today! Lol! Made great first cars for teenagers!
I had one 20 years ago with a small block 400. Great riding car.
Awesome ride I use to own 4 of the 1970 Chevy impala but I was really in to the 1969 Chevy impala which at one time I owned also 4 cars I ended selling all of them never once thought I should have kept one there big comfortable roomy cars lots of power under the hood my favorite was the big block 396 engine .
Bringing back memories I had a green and white one in high school. 💪💯
My dad owned one back in the mid 70s. Ah the good ol days man. It was mellow yellow, with a green cloth interior. 350 with a 350 turbo. I wasn't yellow fan but it wasn't my car either. Brought back some memories man.

I would put a 572 big block ; all new suspension all around a& a tremec6 speed tranny. with 3:77 gear ratio.
It's a nice impala; don't see 70 to much; color is nice

FIRST! Again! Looks like they did a get it sold paint job? I could be wrong! But overall the paint looks pretty good! Engine looks like it could use a little love along with the interior. But with some TLC this car would be a fantastic car to cruise anywhere in. Nice and roomy inside, big trunk, reliable motor. “LETS GO CRUISING!” Nice one Nick!

Love this Impala!!!! Seen it in your full lot video when you first got this car, glad you finally got to it. Looks like someone gave it a good go on restoring it.... just needs a little more to bring it on home. Looking forward to drive video cause this car is fast and classy at the same time. Decent ride... cheap tint job and you can see where they cut the hell out of some corners instead of doing things the right way.

My Dad had a brand new 69 Impala like this. Garnet red with a black vinyl top.The rear window model like this was called the Impala Custom Coupe !
