It amazes me no one got what Michael was saying. Everyone focused on the movie and not the point of what Micheal said about the coat, and his purpose. He was telling him that a bet was made. The coat represents protection from him loving again. The Sun came out and he was able to feel the warmth of love again....
My Mom & I used to have a copy of this film on VHS; it had 1 key difference in this scene that they somehow cut for the DVD/BluRay/Digital Copy... After he BATTLED with the Bull; Michael said "Don't worry about Angus here, he's laughing he's ass off! Michael sees Sparky rolling around on the ground & points to the dog... "That is my true nature!"
That Bull got freight-trained...by an Angel! He's sitting there, on his big ole behind, wondering "What happened? Why do I feel like I just had a losing argument...with an Anvil? I shoulda been able to take him easily. The next thing I know, I'm sitting here with my head hurting so bad, I'll need a whole bottle of aspirin, just to get rid of my headache! I'll never do that again"!!! Poor Bull.....
