Not true! After dropping out of high school he enrolled in drama school in NYC where he studied acting, voice, and dancing. Most actors did. Richard Gere studied all three which is why he was ready to do the role in CHICAGO. Christopher Walken can dance up a storm! Travolta’ s first song and dance role was in BYE BYE BIRDIE when he was 16. He’s been dancing most of his life! Jerry Orbach, the wonderful actor who played Lenny on Law and Order for so many years was a song and dance man first! He started on Broadway! You can find him singing and dancing here on RUclips! These actors had to be able to do everything to get jobs. They had to be “triple threats.” That’s what they were called!

Who can listen to The Bee Gees, or Grease, etc. without doing a Travolta move? Liked your non dancing movies too but you're up there with Fred Astaire to me in terms of taking it to another level.
