- North East Sampler Ep. #2: Riding Thunder Mountain Bike Park with the Single Track Sampler. This is where I filmed the Walmart Huffy Carnage video. I took the single track sampler down some of the most legendary trails such as Gronk, Hawleywood, Blue Pulaski, Juggernaut and Trillium. As you imagine, things got a bit rowdy.

Its so hard to find dudes that are so talented on bikes or anything that actually take some time out of their day to talk to other people or kids even just sound interested in what they are saying these days its awesome to see people like phill do this. Its grows every sport in a massive way and gives kids that boost to keep at it.

Been watching Alexanders newer vids and he's looking like a natural in this other park (do not know the name) clearing consecutive jumps, making strides and improving. He was yelling and screaming and staying stoked. So great to see!!
Liking the vlog style Phil. It's what keeps me interested. At about the 14:30 mark in the video, when you pulled out in front, you were flat out gettin' it!
Oh, and that Hollywood trail looks every bit as good as A-Line in Whistler on camera. Good stuff, and you cleared everything...skilz on the boost!

Phil I like the bloggy style vid you should give more of these in your vid mix. Nice park to shred and great riding.
Outstanding video! One thing that sets your videos apart is your willingness to ride so close to the rider in front. I have no idea how you do that and have time to react to the trail, because in every video I make when the speed is anything around 15 mph or higher, I'm always 1 second behind the front rider. That's the gap I seem to be comfortable with. Then on the GoPro, they look too far out in front a lot of the time, and sort of take on that "ant look." I guess it's from your BMX days that you can ride that close? It's COOL that you can do that, and you do it more than all of the other RUclipsrs.
I also think you're a great teacher with small comments to help Alex improve, and your delivery is always very unassuming and never comes across as critical. You'd be a great teacher...maybe from the experience of the "Skills with Phil" series? At any rate, LOVED this video, and you guys riding together seems to be a really good fit.
I gotta say, I love the vlog style videos! Really turned up the temperature too with that nip slip.

SUGGESTION: 4-way collab, "Game of BIKE" video with Phil, Alex, Seth & Brian filmed at like Northstar or something. Clearly, 3/4 of the participants have an advantage on the tech/steep stuff so to equalize that a bit.....no lifts.

once you have that small hole for the thing to poke through in your shirt, you should take it and have the hole seemed or sewed up so the shirt doesn't unravel or tear easy with wear and then you have a shirt thats basically custom made for that specific thing. you would get a lot more out of the lifetime of the shirt.
