Nice work Rusty. I'm currently building my own table and your videos have been quite helpful. Your table looks like it's had some use now. Hopefully it's been as profitable as it appears fun for you.
Thanks for your kind words, Tim. Yes, the table is paying its way, even though it's not a full time business venture. I hope your table is up and running soon.
First time seeing your channel, this is exactly what I’m trying to learn, did you save Inkscape as a DXF and your cutting program converted it to g code? , can’t wait to learn this stuff👌👍👍
Hi Chris and sorry for the late reply. I create my designs in Inkscape and save the file as a .svg. I then 'save as' a .dxf, which is the format my cutting software uses (I'm using the MyPlasm CNC software from Proma Elektronika). If I need to make any changes to the file, I tweak the .svg version and then do a 'save as' a .dxf.....I find Inkscape sometimes doesn't like opening up .dxf files.
Well done Rusty, it is amazing how you turn a sheet of steel into an absolute “Work of Art”. Keep up the great work!!!
Thanks Gary, appreciate your kind words.
"Poetry in motion" Well done Rusty.
Thanks Ross. It was a really good project and something I hope to do more of.
