I regret starting dermaplanning. I know they say hair does not grow back thicker but for me it grew back twice as long!!!!! And when I started I could shave it once a month but now it grows quicker and I have to do it every 2 weeks! I'm worried I will eventually have to do it weekly!!!! My advice is unless you have dark hair and it's super obvious, then really think twice about it because once you start you can't stop. (I tried not shaving for 3 months and it was the hairiest my face has ever been) - hellonight123
I've been doing my own dermaplanning for about 2yrs now. About 1x a month. My skin looks so much better, it has helped alot with my dry skin/antiaging, fine lines. It helps shed those dead skin cells & I think my serums,Hydrating toners & moisturizer works so much better. Thanks for such informative video's. I love how much I learn from Picky & all the professionals that share great knowledge with us. 💚😊
this is so interesting!! i wanted to try dermaplaning but i figured it might do my skin more harm than good because i have little to no hair. i figured it would just destroy my skin barrier which i want to avoid at all costs. in this video, i leaned that blades used in dermaplaning come in different sizes to avoid cutting the skin. picky user funmise
By far the most informative and detailed youtube explanation of this procedure that ive always wanted to try. Good thing i didnt do it myself and ill just let the professionals do it for me. Thank you for this Doc. Elli and Picky!! PS: i really enjoyed watching the video as dr elli's voice was so soothing and calming, almost feels like listening to asmrs😅
That's interesting to know that dermaplaning helps in making the skincare products to be absorbed better by the skin! I've been want to try it but I'm too scared 😅 I'll just leave it on the hands of a professional. I'm clnbnz on picky! 👋
I love hearing about dermaplaining and it's benefits. I always was worried that hair will grow back quicker and darker but I learnt from this video that's not the case. Picky username: Sai
I started dermaplaning last year and it has made such a great difference in my skin all around from smoothness, texture, hydration, makeup application & the list goes on & on! Awesome video. Great information thank you for sharing 😁 #gopicky #pickysquad Jenkk
I love to dermaplane ❤️ I only do it monthly tho because my skin is already so dry. I do, however, shave my face with a safe tool more often. I use a straight razor monthly and do a wonderful facial right after with my best skincare. I love it. Thanks for sharing your expertise Dr. Ellie
this is very educational many people on social media really just shave their faces without proper tools. I know that is a choice for most of the people but as Dr. Elli said its not for everyone and has many contraindications if your suffering from any kinds of hormonal problems #pickysquad- Epicskin
Dr. Elli has such calming voice. 😌 thanks for sharing insights about face shaving and exfoliators.. much needed.. 🙌 Picky name- justwingit P.s Picky team please share more of these videos.. 🙏 PLEASE
Yes! I've learned something again. I've use a chemical exfoliators before but it made my skin worse.. I didn't know how to use it before or what should I use. Now I know the difference thanks to Dr. Elli. - BCbElla #Picky
I've been seriously considering dermaplaning lately. I was worried about the hair growing back coarser. It sure would be wonderful to not get the balls from a peeling gel stuck in my cheek hair, drives me nuts and I don't use them often because of it, even though I love them. 🤣
If it weren't for this video, I might have thought of using an eyebrow razor to shave my facial skin 🤣 Thank you for providing us a lot of information, Doc! ❤️ Question: Is moisturizer really necessary? This has been a big debate in the skincare community since I have read a lot of posts that their dermatologists do not require them because of the humid weather.
Hey I shaved my face first time and I am extremely scared to shave it again. I am thinking of not shaving it anymore. In that case if I stop shaving my face will the hair grow back thicker or darker or longer than my previous hair which was before shaving it. Please can you reply I am extremely tensed about it. It will be really helpful if you reply.
I was actually planning to start dermaplaning, so these points are really helpful as I have acne prone skin. Thank you so much for your suggestions ❤️ SushiRiya #gopicky
This is a great information about dermplaning. Perfect timing for chemical exfoliator since I haven’t tried any and I’m planning to incorporate AHA and BHA in my routine (I want try with glycolic and mandelic acid first). Thank you Doc Eli and Picky Team! Xoxo ❤️mommy.skincaresecrets
I love all these amazing information! I have also considered dermaplaning in my skincare journey and thank you for all the clarification. I love that you explain the good benefits and the side effects it can have. 💕 - picky user: disinclined

I would have never thought to deliver my AHAs via a cream, rather than toner, for my dry skin!
Woahh I didn’t know that azaleic acid is an AHA. Definitely learning something new everyday ☺️
