Ääh, no. The whole thing does not move out, only a few mm. Drilled holes on the front of the radio, still nothing. Teared of the front of the radio. Seems I will only get it out in small peaces! The unmentioned hidden hexagonal screw under the top of the panel is a very important one!
found more reliable video, so no longer necessary for me to keep asking about where that fifth screw is supposed to be located. really well hidden..... impossible to find it just by mistake.
I have trouble getting two of the side screws out that physically hold the radio player unit. The screws are so right. Anyone else have this problem? Any advice?
Initially found this useful until it became clear that you missed a bunch of steps (like having to remove the dash and pillar panels!) So it's actually a bit more complicated. So your video is ultimately pointless.
@@Endfloat useless, as he says. your video makes no sense, cause there is obviously a fifth screw which is hidden, you do not mention that at all... Just wasted 30mm of my life trying to take it out using your information and nearly broke the whole plastic thing.

If it's factory unit you also need to take out a 10mm bolt hidden under to panel on top of the dash
That's good info, thanks for that.
Is that tricky .. 🥴
@@greluczombie5990 no, simples mate. Just pop a panel tool in the crease and it pops up
You sir are a legend!
Great that you mentioned about the antenna adapter 👌👍🇬🇧 Would never have known. No other RUclips video would ever mention this ! Thank you

Yes pretty crucial info he missed out there, not great given that's the point of the video.
@@TransmissionEpicts @Johnsmith-official
same here, and your point is also not very helpful either unless you explain where that screw is...

Hello mate can you send me the after market radio and harness adaptor you used please.
Where did you get your pioneer radio from matey ?
A local charity shop, believe it or not!
Great little guide mate, got a feeling my mate is going to ask me to replace his one in his March Impul...
Glad I could help! It's a handy job once you use an adapter, or if your new head unit has the ISO connector on the back, better again!
Hey what’s radio model
Can I move off with the key remover?
Sorry I don't understand what you mean.
@@Endfloat if i can take out the radio with the keys special keys for radios
@@carlospaulino7834 no you can't. The brackets need to be unbolted.
@@Endfloat oh My goodness so complicated car. I don't have that tool , I'll have to go to Halfords by expensive one there and pay expensive fit
I just need to do it as need to find the serial number to get a code for radio.
Glad I could help!
Me too lol
Mhm, me too.
About the adapter. Is it a separate component or is it already in the wirings?
@Endfloat is there a way the add an aux to the original ff stereo x
Not without modifying the stereo. It's a lot easier to just replace it with a unit with the aux input on it.
Mine is not coming out
Which iso adapter did you use? I can’t seem to find the right one anywhere
Halfords do a wide range of adapters, but a lot of new radios come with them.
i cant remove i took off all screw and something still there
There's a 10mm nut under the dash cover that I didn't show in the video.
@@Endfloat how can i remove?
@@carlospaulino7834 you pry up the plastic cover on the top of the dash and you'll see it in there.
Guten Abend, haben Sie eine Blende verwendet oder braucht man keine?Und wenn ja welche haben Sie genommen
Lieben Dank
I've taken my radio out, but all the aftermarket radios I've tried to fit are too big. Any recommendations?
It's a standard DIN size radio. Any that is that size will fit.
What about the cable connections ? How can i select a radio supports Usb and Bluetooth and can replace this one ?? Any recommendations!!
I have trouble getting two of the side screws out that physically hold the radio player unit. The screws are so right. Anyone else have this problem? Any advice?
A well fitting stubby screwdriver, or if you can get onto it with a small vice grips, that might work.
3 went out easy the 4. I had to drill
Et la vis de 10 cachée au dessus ???? Merci de la préciser la prochaine fois !
I did mention it in the video description.
Thanks good video 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it
@@Endfloat Would a Sony cd player fit into a Nissan micra k12 would you know
@@user-ue3xq6xz5x standard DIN size one will, yes. You might need a wiring adapter but they're cheap.

Anybody know what the wiring adapter is for the car. Like part number or where I can get it. Thanks
Most larger motor factors will sell it. You need to adapt from whatever radio you have to an ISO block connector.
Ahh my wire loom is snagged so it doesn’t pull out far at all.
You forgot the 10 mill in top of dash
I'm going to take mine out as well.

It depends on what radio you have. I got the radio out!

Does this radio support aux cable?
The one I removed? Yes, I think so. The standard one doesn't though as far as I know.
