    Great vid as always. Appreciate how much you show and not tell. You didn't need to narrate that the pens' parts are interchangeable, or anything about the converter. Mr Eureka seems like such a details-oriented guy. Perfect for this little community.
    p.s. The Wet Pen ink!?

      Thank you! I agree... Eureka is very detail oriented. I think that a lot of people will be happy when they also become production-oriented 🙂

    Great review,just received my my Docecadon diamond cap in mint green ebonite.I went for the handmade ebonite feed with the medium bock matte finish steel nib,it takes the Pilot Con 40/Con70 converter (not included).Writes like a dream the nib is tuned to perfection & it only took a week from Korea to UK delivery.Excellent company to deal with👍

    The pen is GORGEOUS at first look - I love the flat top and those gorgeous facets! - the grip section is long enough to stay away from the threads....even the nib looks stunning...posting is suboptimal....You did not write in cursive. I have large hands for a woman and enjoy large-ish pens- they earned a look see from me I am heading to the Eureka website when I have a moment. Thank you for a lovely video. ps I am not as obsessed with inks as you are but you are influencing my interest FYI...

    "Jazz na Chuva Para relaxar," wow!!! Matt, you have truly outdone yourself this time... Gawd, what an oasis your content is, such "Calgon-take-me-away" destinations each point-and-click your uploads become.... Never fails, at those insanely quiet moments in the home, when all are sleep, and the only creature stirring is "the mouse," and that left click... and there again, your most recent dot on the map of what we pen friends and penabled wayfarers have journeyed countless scrolling hours to little, if anything, avails on our horizons... yet, and then there in the distance... the warm glowing rays of illumination that can only be light from The Wet Pen spangling with brilliance no star studded banner or such could ... well, I think all get my point.... but there, yet another escape of the most undeservedly underdiscused kind rises like an uncharted sanctuary we hope more would become marooned with us.... but, if not... more, more for us, lol. Thank you, again. We are penoblese, IG.

    I have wanted to purchase a Eureka oen but they didn't accept PayPal. Do they now?
    Stunning pen. My only commitment would habe been to use the same finish on the cap and barrel. I really do like the diamond finish a lot amd would have been excited to see the complete oen that way.

    • @thewetpen
      @thewetpen  11 месяцев назад +1

      The website says that they accept PayPal, but it does cost about 10% more to make up for fees, etc. This pen was sent to me for review, though... I didn't pay for it, so I'm not sure what they'll actually accept on the site.
      I can definitely see why you might want the same finish on the cap and barrel... that could look really incredible. Two potential problems, though: it might be difficult to get the pattern on the cap and body to line up perfectly (maybe not with the computer aided machining we get) which would look odd. The other is that I really like the contrast between the smooth body and the texture of the cap... they enhance each other. And you'd run the risk of the pen seeming gaudy if it were all the same. I have a BENU pen with a completely faceted finish, and that really contributes the to pen being a bit gaudy (and the chunky gold glitter helps, too)... I don't know, though... I'd have to see it. Maybe they'll make one 🙂

    Hi,
    Fun video to watch. JFYI Ranga also offers a third finish they call it satin aka semi-polished. Not mentioned in their forms but they do provide on request. It's better than their unpolished aka matte. Also Lotus got a new offering called Palmae inspired by the palm tree they say. 😜

    • @thewetpen
      @thewetpen  11 месяцев назад

      I had heard that Lotus was doing something similar, but didn't see it on their website... the mention of "Palmae" helped me track it down on their IG feed... thanks! Good to know about the Ranga finish... I'll have to ask them about it next time I order.

    Hey, just had a quick question :- What pen do you prefer jinhao x159 or jinhao 9019 ?

    • @thewetpen
      @thewetpen  11 месяцев назад

      I guess I prefer the 9019, but I don't really like either one very much. I have two x159s, and just one 9019, but I like the overall build quality of the 9019. The big problem with both pens, for me, is that the grip section is too large to be comfortable if I'm writing for a long time... and the whole reason that I use fountain pens is that I like how they feel when writing. Maybe I'll get used to the larger grip at some point, but I haven't yet.
