Dominique is not dominos, but it is unique. A very fun abstract tile game from the 1980s!

  • For this episode, I pulled an abstract game out of the archives that I think deserves a replay. It's pretty simple on the surface, but competitive players will find quite a bit of depth here. On the other hand, it's easy for young kids to learn and have fun with, too.
As with most multi-player abstract games, the player count has a lot to do with your choices, and their consequences. Placing tiles and forming patterns sounds a little too simple, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Let me know what you think of the game Dominque!
    As always, thanks for watching!

Loved this game, thanks for bringing it 👍
I'm going to make a homemade version and play here with the family and also in my board games workshops for the elderly.😍

I think the european version you mentioned is still being sold or at least in the last 10 or so years. As I swear i have that somewhere in my house. Must have got it for christmas years ago as a child but sure I had it or something like it.

Where do you find these games?

Many places: Thrift stores, yard sales, estate sales, ebay, and sometimes people just find them in their closets and they just give them to me!
